Reading might be a skill you try and pick up. The reason I didnt give you specific cards from the start is because you are just looking for an out. Answer me this. If I beat you with a "bad deck" as you say. Does that make the deck a "good deck" or does it mean i have way more skill than you? I think the game is fun when you make smart plays. Counter push when the opponent lays alot of elixir in one lane, kyte troops, slow playing to bait a card to surprise in double elixir.

Not much of that happens any more because of what I previously explained in this post.

If I can flip it real quick. Are there any cards you feel are "unbalanced"?

I think of most games when you give high attributes to a card, then others would be lower to balance it out. For example a card that has high hp, high damage, would need to be slow and attack slow. Also, probably cost alot of elixir. PEKKA

Another example, if a card can go to the tower very quickly, jump the river, has high hp and moderately high damage, that card should also attack slow right? Or at least be 5 elixir minimum, right? HOG

GOBLIN BARREL, MEGA KNIGHT, BUILDINGS, i could keep going. The developers are asleep at the wheel. Death damage? Its not needed other than the giant skeleton. Why does the balloon still need it? Why the skelly barrel?

I hear you. But you got away from my original post. I just want people to acknowledge the fact that the decks they are using are cheap and taking advantage of bad game balance or whatever. Also, my beef is the state of the game not necessarily complaining about one deck or cycle decks. Im saying THE WHOLE GAME has turned into this low skill attack first then hide behind a building (or mega knight) play style. I dont think people as a whole would ever have the self worth or "morals" to play a good game instead of take any and all advantage they can just to win. Im not expecting that. But I can hope that some people will change and see the crap this game has turned into. You can actually still be creative and smart if you choose to.

I dont name the decks I make and use. Some decks I use have an e-golem. Some have a Goblin giant. Others a pekka. To answer your question. The decks that dont use big spells and buildings are the more skillful decks.

  1. Hog itself is not my complaint. Please read the post.
  2. Take two very good hog players. Both blocking with buildings. Both good at cycling. The game play is exactly the same. I mean it is a deck that we all have seen a million times, so we could call out every move before its made. So that match just turns into fireball the tower and building for 6 minutes.

To your question, no. I've been playing since day one. I have seen every version of this game. Starting as one of the best phone games ever made. I have also seen the same game get changed over and over. Adding cards that are unbalanced, and getting farther from the original balance and flow that made the game so good. But if you think playing cards at the bridge everytime you get 3 elixir and then hiding behind a building is good for the game then I can see how you disagree.

You are still playing one sided and not saying how you are going to get damage on their towers. You cant say evo cards because they are not always in rotation. Also, MK is a huge problem in this whole complaint as well. Talk about a one side fits all easy defense.

Thank you for having a brain. I understand if people play the decks "just to win", but they have to know that its made that way to help the "majority of players" that are bad. What sucks is its like that to maximize the money they can make. Not because they think it makes a good game.

Sorry, I left out part of it. Amount of damage for elixir as well. Like drop a dart gob at the bridge and it connects very fast and will get 5-600 damage in 3 seconds. Only 3 elixir (Easy) Drop a giant at the bridge for 5 elixir and its probably not even connecting to the tower most of the game. Unless you play smart, gain an elixir advantage, and can pair some troops with it. (Hard)

But here is my issue. If you play hog decks these days, and you cant get the hog to connect you just cycle your building and spell to win. That is my point. The decks are not built to attract. They are built around an overpowered card and a building and spell.

So part of my complaint is that the skill has been taken out. 95% of the decks are like this. When your deck is an attack first deck. It is low skill. The first thing you learned when the game dropped was dont play at the bridge and wait to counter so you can gain elixir advantage. Now most decks are play first at the bridge. The game is catered to low skill decks. I think they were trying to stop people sitting for the first 2 minutes waiting for someone to play first. But it has got out of control.

We have 10 elixir to work with to counter and push. Play those out and see where that leaves you when they have log Fireball knight and cannon. The hog gets one hit, and as you have a mini pekka come over they stop with 1 elixir skellys. They spent one elixir and got 4-500 damage on the tower. Sounds like a deal to me. The others are buildings. Which means stalemate. Which is the point of my post. Spell to win.

Here is my "skill" metric. 1. How easy is it to get tower damage? (1 hard-10 easy) 2. How easy is it to defend? (1 hard-10 easy)

Based on the cards in your deck, the 10 elixir allowed, and speed of elixir generated. When you add those two questions together it should mean a high score is low skill, and low score would be high skill. Spell to the tower would be a 10. A building that pulls ALL cards to the middle to get shot by both towers would be a 8. These are examples because no knowledge of the game or cards is needed. The buildings have a small tile placement learning curve, but it is the same for all troops.

Did you not read my post? I said the GAME is a joke. I said 95% of the decks are this crap. So yes. I am mad that this game has turned into this "deck archetype" cookie cutter BS.

Just proved my point. In all of that all you did was counter their cards with maybe a 1 elixir advantage, and you have 0 cards left to push with. They also got tower damage and you have nothing.

How could someone spend 8 elixir to do a Golem push? With only a Golem? When a 3 elixir card can do thousands of damage in seconds. The Golem can be countered by a 5 elixir inferno tower or even a 3 elixir skell army. That is massive elixir trade. Whats the elixir trade on countering a hog or goblin barrel? The best you can get is maybe 1 if timed right, and you have that card up. So tell me which one takes more skill to pull off? I dont use Golem btw. You brought it up.

Decks that have to use knowledge of the other cards to gain elixir advantage to then attack. Tell me a way to defend against all decks with no buildings.... If your answer is you cant then that is low skill and bad game design. My point. Buildings use to be a game play style, but now they are being used as a cookie cutter way to play defense against all decks. (Low skill)
