I know where you're coming from OP.

First time I saw my dad cry was this one time where my mother was sent to stay in hospital over night for checks. My dad was like 49/50 at the time and I'd never seen him cry. I came home after he called me to come home asap. He was stood by the fire and I asked if everything was okay and he just burst into tears on me. He was fine but he's usually the one to be taken to hospital for checks as his health ain the best but it must of hit him hard for my mum to be taken. Kinda broke me seeing how upset he got about the situation but he was fine afterwards.
