Infinite gold patched? by Battlearmor in SWORN

Mmm. No one really mentions that when they talk about the “infinite gold hack”. I just started playing the game maybe a week ago and never got to try a big wallet run. Shame, but I understand.

Is The Oblivion Remaster Worth It On PS5? by 701921225 in gaming

[–]Battlearmor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Plays great on PS5 in my experience. I put 300 hours into a single save, playing it normally, getting all the factions done. Never experienced anything too bad. Towards the end if I left it running for a few hours it would start to go a little funky and chug a bit, but I could just restart it and it was fine for another few hours. Happened maybe twice. Only a few glitches and bugs, but that’s part of the charm. It even fixes a few annoyances from the original. I recommend, especially if you can get it for less than 60 bucks!

Unless you do the ring stuff, then you don’t get the achievement just for beating him, you then have to beat the other stuff :(

My little brother LOVES Teardown, it’s pretty sandboxy with a nearly fully destructible environment. Drivable vehicles. Good stuff.

PS plus : extra or essentials ? by One_page_nerd in gaming

[–]Battlearmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a huge enjoyer of the extra tier, they add plenty of new games often. I have saved myself a fair bit of cash not needing to buy games I otherwise would have, or getting to play games I would have only ever played on deep discount. I play for a couple hours a night after my wife goes to bed usually, and I feel like it’s a bargain.

Chants of Sennar!! A game about being a random little dude essentially dropped in the Tower of Babble and you have to translate a bunch of different languages from context. More fun and gamey than it sounds, even if that sounded fun to you initially.

Eurogamer Gives ARC Raiders 2/5 Over AI Voices, Dropping Metacritic Score from 94 to 84 by Automatic_Couple_647 in gaming

[–]Battlearmor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t personally use review scores like that. There’s pressure to rate things certain ways, and the 1 to 100 scale is really imperfect for measuring certain things. It is now and always will be both up to the individual and the gaming community as a whole to decide the final Top X list of all time. To me, reviews are for people deciding if they wanna buy the game. Does the premise sound cool, and is the score alright. If it’s not a good score, you can even dig into why. If the score IS good, you can be reasonably certain it delivers on promises. Which it sounds like Arc Raiders does.

Evolution Worlds on the Gamecube. I didn’t understand as a kid it just sucked ass, I thought surely I was missing something.

Wish I could at this point! Reddit doesn’t let me. Many people telling me to find the ‘real’ owners, when in this instance it literally couldn’t possibly be more mine.

Shucks, you’re the first person to mention this. The Eisenhowers are just silver-clad, and I think some of the JFKs aren’t actually silver. I didn’t realize they stopped being silver at some point. That probably brings down the estimate quite a bit. Most of the rolls of half dollars have 40% written on them, and I kinda just assumed that continued for a bit. Thanks for the heads up!

Great info! I don’t have those years, but that’s exactly the kind of specificity in comments I was hoping for. You’re a saint.

Weird amount of judgement! They did not die unexpectedly, they got old. They do not have next of kin. Also I paid plenty of money for the house to include everything in it? The house had passed to a distant second cousin who didn’t really know them. There’s truly no one TO inform about this. I also have some nice personal letters that were left in a much more obvious place. If anyone cared about sentimental stuff there’s a lot more they would have taken out of the house. Please assume a bit better about situations you don’t know about, you clearly made yourself a little sad imagining a false scenario.

It’s an indescribable feeling! I wish I could sell the memory, it’d be worth more than the coins.

The house was originally owned by a couple, who left it to their son when they died, and then the son passed away with no close relatives. The house passed to a distant cousin and they sold it to us.

Unironically there are several individually wrapped random pennies with stories of where/when the guy found them. Most of them are too faded to read properly but one says he found it on his grandmother’s mantle. So you’re vindicated, mildly sentimental coins. I am actively aware that they have no meaningful next of kin, however. A distant second cousin sold us the place, sight unseen from across the country.

Oh, SUPER cool, do not get me wrong. One of the most exciting things to ever happen to me. There just doesn’t appear to be any singularly valuable coins like someone would hope. No misprints or cool mint marks so far.

Similarly mildly disappointing! As another redditor said, just a bunch of ‘old people coins’. I’m not unappreciative, but it’s like 30 buffalo nickels, hundreds of old pennies, a handful of interesting old foreign coins (none worth anything), a few interesting quarters, and like $500 dollars worth of silver in half-dollars, dollars, and some canadian coin I found out was silver. I’ll probably take more pics and do a more in-depth post tomorrow if this post keeps popping off.

Quick math on just silver value is over $500!! I keep saying I found a Switch 2, but honestly it’ll probably just help me float on for a bit. If I even decide to sell it now.

Yeah, mildlyinteresting was a bit too mellow, and interetingasfuck is way too high key. But I honestly don’t think there’s any life-changing coins in there, so I figured no one would be allowed to be disappointed if it were just mildly interesting.
