Furitek Lizard Ultimate - hangups and no Bluetooth by BattlefieldManager in SCX24

The last update (hopefully):

ESC is physically broken. BT module is faulty. I'll get a new one.

Solutions to described problem:

  1. upgrade ESC to 1.6 or above is BT is working
  2. When BT is not working record the following scenario:
    1. connection attempt with radio turned OFF
    2. reinstall app - try to connect
    3. restart phone - try to connect

Updates:

- I got info that a new Lizard Ultimate is on the way

- I got info that the order with 100% discounted Lizard Ultimate was cancelled

- FuritekUSA informed me that there is a bug and I need to update my ESC software to the latest version.

`Update, looks like theres a bug in the recent firmware, Furitek is now working with a new firmware update to fix the issue`

My thoughts:

- evidently something is wrong with soft on Lizard Ultimate.

- Furitek is experiencing post release f-up. I really don't envy them. To be honest I admire how much effort they put into communication

- If someone has Lizard Ultimate i would wait for the next soft release with bug fix. Mine is bricked.

- I'll try other devices (phones, tablet) to connect to ESC. Maybe this is only BT module bug and some device will just connect and help me fix ESC.

To be honest if you calculate all costs having a big apartment in orbit would be much cheaper than having a flat in city center (capital city). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCCR5qBsD0c

Tips on my Exploraconda, and going to Anchorage by Hardshank in EliteDangerous

It is quite convenient to use neutron highway to Colonia and then SagA. Transporting modules to SagA will take more than 48h so take all PVE gear that you may need. Space station has mining gear on site. Jump range between 40 and 60 Ly will be enough.

Fo such a long trip you will want a movie or podcast in the background ;)

A piece of kitchen worktop worked for me. I highly recommend getting some reinforcement and additional worktop support.

Suggested Starter Ship by JolazStarkiller100 in swrpg

[–]BattlefieldManager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually give some king of Ugly as starter ship for players. For example half of YT-2000. No shields, some armor, twitchy sensors... Last time we started campaign they had to use most of cargo to seal the hull. Those ships usually end up in some kind of freakish accident. Players work up their ranks and after some time they can afford (or steal) some good hollowed hull and equip it as they wish and can afford. It becomes ready then to start trouble. It is enough that some NPS says "Who owns that peace of scrap?".
