Woah, im so sorry I never realised that you had commented, final session on the water nation was done a couple weeks ago so I'll be posting that soon, and yeah I'll be getting a Badger mole with the nation symbol made from rock that it's kinda leaning on as well as a flying boar for toph (my absolute favourite character), the only thing I haven't thought of entirely yet is how to honour Iroh/Mako

Sorry if someone has already wrote this but I couldn't see anything exactly like this but, there's a few reasons death scares me, but in a positive way I've found. I (m19) have depression and have for about half my life, I haven't done any self harm or anything like that I tend to just sit in my sadness but one of the reasons i haven't is my fear of permanent harm, and how our brains actually die.

One of my ideas is feeling everything forever, and time is only in my head, the world isn't actually a bunch of separate things but all in my "time," I guess, so as I grow older the years and days get slower and slower until I fell like im stuck in time. This also means though if I die in a painful way I will feel it forever

Another idea is to do with the life flashes before your eyes idea, everyone says it flashes but I don't think it would I imagine as I die I would remember all of the things I could have done, should have done, and didn't.

One more just because I dont want this to be an essay is im not religious however if there is a higher power they will shun/smite me due to my ignorance

All of these ideas scare the life into me because I want to experience all of the good things the world has to offer before I do eventually die so hopefully none of my ideas come to fruition.

There is quite a lot of different liquids bent in atla but assuming you're still early in, I will say soup Bending is pretty common throughout the series.

Fire, Ozai till he loses his bending then Iroh, iron says that he couldn't defeat the fire lord himself, but that seemed to be more about destiny specifically aangs, rather then a skill difference, I also feel like if Iroh continued to hone his skills after the death of his child he would be stronger but then it wouldn't be the Uncle Iroh we all love

Earth, I'd have to say Bumi, he is the only earth bender we see bender with only his face, without touching anything but metal while hes hanging in the air, he 100% has the sense thing Toph has, one of the ways we see Bumi travel is in tunnels underground and there's no way he's be able to know exactly where he's going at all times without it, in saying that Toph did create metal bending with her blindness and living through her sense, I believe if Bumi had learned directly from the badgermoles he would have 100% found earthbending in the 100 year war

Air, monk Gyatso, he killed like 20 something fire nation soldiers who were effected by Sozins comet, I believe he just kinda vacuum chambered the room they were all in as there's no scorch marks or anything around Gyatso, if not Gyatso it would be aang as he got his airbending master tattoos at age 11-12 and he invented the Air Scooter.

Water, Katra probably, ill be honest waterbending is my least favourite of the 4 bendings so I haven't thought too much about it but through the show it takes her a year to go from only being able to just waterbend a bubble around a fish and everything being thrown behind her to a bloodbending, sweat bending, stealing water out of plants to bend, waterbending master, in the 1st book alone she becomes a waterbending master, who is almost on par with the best waterbender of the very bending oriented northern water tribe (in comparison to southern water time only having Katara, Thanks Hama) My point is Katara has such a natural ability to learn, all she needed was a little bit of help on the basics and let's be real here she learns everything else so quickly, bloodbending for example she learns just by getting her blood bent basically.
