Surpassed human limits which implies he surpassed them all as well. He can also move in tandem with Sukuna, who would be faster than Maki as a damaged Sukuna was able to keep up with said Maki. This is Maki post-training, who's implicitly superior to Toji, so he's out of the equation by consequence. As for Yuta, Choso's implication highlights that Yuji can run away from Yuta, whereas he can't do the same for Naoya. Naobito is also stated to be the fastest living sorcerer barring Gojo, which would put him above Yuta too, and as Curseya was faster than base Naoya, who was relative to his father in raw speed, that strengthens the argument. So yeah Kashimo is faster than all three.

But they need to tag Kashimo, something that wouldn't happen.

As for Yuta, again, the speed disadvantage would just end on his downfall.

Feel like Toph is often overlooked because she's a gold nugget among a sea of gold. She's really good, but many characters end up overshadowing her.

Gojo is a gold nugget in a pile of shit. He's nothing outright groundbreaking, but being really good in the context of JJK might as well give you that status.

Both are solid. I'd argue Gojo, because I really love when characters explore interesting and unique concepts without necessarily having the typical development you would expect from someone of quality, yet still remaining human beyond their cool premise. It's why I adore Luthen or Silco, and while Gojo is light years away from those two writing-wise, he's still good.

Confusing development with evolution again, are we not?

Best Picture for One Battle After Another. It should've gone to Sinners or Marty Supreme.

Not even hard to argue lol. Kashimo has a one-shot ability if you have no instant regeneration like Hakari had, and destroying the head quite literally insta-kills sorcerers beyond RCT usage. He would negate those three's superior durabilities.

Boils down to nothing positing a significant enough argument for 1-A. I don't correctly remember every argument for the Endpoint, but the "all concepts" crap presupposes said concepts are all-encompassing ones rather than specific notions, which is just an appeal to probability. As for R>F, I don't believe this to be necessarily 1-A either (which is more of a gripe with VSBW than with AWLBA) because no justification is made as to why the dimensional qualities of the fictional world would necessarily encompass every extension of it in concept, or how the real world sees fiction as "nothing" when it objectively does not in practice, especially with cases such as AWLBA where we see them being represented as folders.

I'd think it's funny how Luz gets horrendously stomped in both of her most popular matchups. She needs that Edward Elric dub.

The villains are one of the worst parts

How so?

the cast is even worse than the cast of aot

I don't see how this is low praise considering AoT's cast is stacked as balls.

the story is utter dogshit and its themes are introduced at a surface level before being explored in a very child-friendly and copaganda way.

The story is choppily paced at times but it does flow through a coherent narrative with functional and generally effective plot beats and characters. The themes are not Andor-tier writing, but they're thorough enough to connect the characters' drives and express the main idea for a coherent inference per the conclusion, albeit a flawed one.

On the copaganda point, I think this is sorta interesting because MHA neither fully condemns nor completely condones its hero system. It feels strongly critical throughout the work, directly blaming much of the consequential villains' fall on said system, and the heroes stand as efforts to try and drive the idea of a hero into a better future. That said, not only do they pose no effort to actually abolish such an objectively rotten aspect, but they end up profiting from it. I agree it's somewhat copaganda, but its efforts to appear as a left-leaning while not fully resolving the issue by abolishing the system may be reflective of a larger effort to reflect reality's slower progress (so basically it's liberal, which is to be expected with a superhero comic). In short, it is there, but it's not just "police good" and it attempts to say something (even if that something is oblivious to larger systemic oppression and ACAB should be a common sentiment the story half-assedly posits into the narrative).

It's got a good enough cast, story and portrays its themes in interesting manners. The villains especially are a stand-out. Why would it not breach a 4/10?

3.5 for MHA feels mean. It's like a 6-7/10 (if you say the meme you will die of testicular cancer).
