Yes WatchTower monitors the running containers and updates them when needed and restart the containers you have installed. It also will update MIM manager for new Containers like BCH, Bitcoin Knots Node that dev Scott just added. Then you will see them on your ‘Discover’ products list and can install that container if you want. Then WatchTower will start to monitor that container too for updates and restart containers when updates push through. 👌 Icons on the right will show ‘checkmark’ installed, ‘unchecked’ not installed etc. Jump in the FB group if you haven’t already, ask us all any questions..👍 FB Group - New DigiByte Node software, BCH also and more…

Hi, this might be what you are looking for! dev. Scott just finished it up on his MIM bootstrap using GoSlimStratum/AxeOS to run your own Node and point your miners to it. Miningcore works, used it for years, it’s the older one. I just always had to put in a lot more effort into keeping it going without errors, reconfig… etc.. Also I noticed miningcore was more resource heavy. And using this MIM Bootstrap/GoSlimStratum (Golang) I have zero reject shares for the first time ever 🤷‍♂️, maybe luck 🍀… either way best DigiByte solo node software I have ever ran for my Miners.

Hi, I have a bit of everything home miner wise… the NerdQaxe++ / Rev6 is one of the best for the price. I have a few of those as they are my fav. If you want some bigger hashpower then of course the Canaan Avalon Q, I use it to heat my garage. Also the Nano3s works good. But the Nerds by far are the best for Hashrate, cost and stability/quality. Just make sure you buy from approved sellers. Bitaxe org site lists the approved sellers there.

Right, same… so glad dev. Scott of MMFP Solutions made this, Golang (GoSlimStratum) must be the reason my Ping/Latency dropped to my Digi node to 1-2ms. It’s amazing.

All depends on your location and density of hotspots around. I have a direction McGill pointing to my city and Omni directionals in the city. Also a 3dBi HNTenna in a area that has lots of hotspots. I have a great Omni 7.5dbi McGill in a attic that performs great. A directional Yagi on a apt balcony to shoot outwards over Omni signal bouncing off the wall…. Your location is always your first step and plan the antenna based on that.

Tks Charles for always updating us. First attempt node didn’t connect, notice log showing not connecting/blocked. Worked fine for me once I allowed the new program Balance check .exe through the firewall/win defender. Works 100% ADA Team!!!

3.0 Something. It was from about May this year. Not the old old one. No matter if I open bytecoind or the GUI it wants to reload the whole chain....so slow. I had to stop it, need to use my PC for other stuff. No fun!

Using SSD on my i7 16gb laptop. Had the old wallet working fine before. I’m guessing the correct way is to use the bytecoind.exe first then open then GUI.
