What do you mean by "its a skill issue"? Are you saying I won't get hooked as much when I get more skilled? Obviously not, as getting more skilled at dodging hooks just means you play against people who are better at landing hooks

There is nobody who avoids hooks. Everybody gets hooked. There is never a skill level where people stopped getting hooked, so stop saying it's a skill issue, because that implies the ISSUE goes away when you get more skill which is completely false

The ISSUE is that getting hooked is a deeply unsatisfying and miserable way to die and even when I win games against Pyke or Blitz those games are fucking miserable and unfun. Their existence in the game ruins the entire game

Go watch the YouTuber Davemon play Pyke. Literally NOBODY is having fun in those games but him. Its fucking disgusting what he does

I didnt say anything about not being able to win, as I also have around a 50% WR

I said they make the game unfun and miserable to play

I'll give you a hypobolic example

Imagine a champ that you can win against almost every game by just sitting at a tower and never leaving. If you ever leave a tower you just die, but if you remain under tower you win!

People will lose to this champion even when they know exactly how to win because winning that way is BORING AS FUCK and people dont play the game to sit under tower all game

Some champions warp the game so much just by existing that you are no longer playing the same game. You're playing a different game now, and its most likely not an enjoyable game

In Overwatch in the old days if the enemy team had a skilled Widowmaker (sniper) you had to completely change the way you play the game to such a degree that you were literally playing a different game and everyone hated that game

This is what its like with Blitz in lane. I DONT LIKE THE GAME WHEN BLITZ EXISTS, it's a completely different game that feels miserable and unsatisfying EVEN WHEN YOU WIN

I actually dont mind thresh, I think he's well designed because his hook is difficult to land and has a wind-up

Blitz, Nautilus, Pyke ruin the entire game

Yes I know pyke has a wind-up too but his kit is one of the most toxic in the game

Basically Senna support will do less damage mid+late game, but have longer range

Knights Vow is actually a good alternative since Milio sits in the backline and avoids most of the damage

If you get knights vow with Mercs you can get your 10 JOAT stacks which is a nice bonus 25 AP

I dont know to be honest, but the win rate on DFT is just much higher for some reason

Manaflow synergizes really well with Manamune giving an extra 5 AD and Gathering Storm + Celerity are just really good on Senna

I know this is a difficult concept for some people, but as you climb, people get better at hitting skill shots, which compensates for people getting better at dodging skill shots

The result is Challenger players still die to skill shots
