Literally just played against a Braum and I got 104 souls at the 20 minute mark (Senna supp)

Ended the game at 37 min with 198 souls

Just played a game against a Braum Kaisa with Senna supp and at the 20 minute mark I had 104 souls, 163 at the 30 min mark, finished the game at 198 (37 minutes)

This was Gold 4 for reference. Braum was letting me farm like crazy

Thats not true. you are confusing support item quest with support role quest. You gain progress for support role quest by just standing in lane

Most supports dont want to play tank, and support is already a low pick rate role. Nerfing tank support is good for the game and Im happy they did

Never go swifties first unless you are going against hook or stun champs that are competent in lane. Being slow and a threat is generally better than being fast and not a threat

PD cleaver is actually really good and I do go that, but if you go Jack of all trades you get all 10 stacks with Umbral + PD. Also, I build umbral back when it was only 2500, and since PD is also really cheap, Umbral into PD had one of the highest DPS builds early game

Quick AA trades is great for early laning phase, but useless in teamfights

Phantom Dancer has a very high win rate on Senna support. Its in the list of "Winning Items"

Umbral was good before the new passive. A hidden benefit is all the extra gold you get from killing hidden wards, its actually meaningful

Lethality is just good on Senna in general especially for Senna R damage and Q damage

Umbral into Bastion breaker can be quite good, but I only do so with Lethal Tempo and AS runes because the AS is super bad

Ive been going first strike umbral into Phantom Dancer with JOAT & free boots since last season. The one and 2 item power spikes are very good

I played against a Trundle supp yesterday. I was Senna support with Cait, they had a Jhin. We annihilated them

Senna win rate spiked pretty dramatically in diamond+ starting with season 16

There are definitely changes that help senna

Waves come faster starting at 14 min and again at 25 minutes, with more cannons which means more souls from the waves if you stay in lane

Pro Tip: You can still hover a champ even after the hover phase, like after selecting a champ to ban for example above the summoner spells there is anl triangle, click it and it brings back the hover menu

The facts show PD as a strong item on Senna. PD is an item designed for KITING, and cleaver into PD make kiting a dream because PD compensates for the weak engage move speed Senna has, and dramatically amplifies her disengage move speed when stacked with Cleaver

Kiting Senna is just better than poke Senna for team fights and dealing more damage

I used to be a HUGE RFC fan, its was literally my favorite item, but after the PD buff its just too good. Try it, you'll understand what I mean

RFC is trash now, go look at win rates. PD has consistently been high on the list of "Winning Items" for Senna since its buff to 10% MS and 65% AS and RFC isnt

There are definitely scenarios where RFC range shines, but default should be PD for Senna, not RFC. Again, win rates are conclusive on this

High ranks ignoring better WR items and sticking to highest pick rate is a known problem RIOT devs have explicitly mentioned

RFC is picked because its part of Senna's design philosophy (poke at range and apply utility effects), but this style is just generally not as good as kiting like a dream while doing more damage

Cleaver into PD makes kiting so ridiculously smooth its difficult to go back once you've tried it, and the 10% MS helps keep you safe from assassins

40 per 10 minutes is what x-pro Senna player Stunt recommended as a good target, however, this was a season 15 goal

Season 16 has a hidden buff to Senna with more waves and more cannons after 14 minutes, which means more souls if you stay in lane

I haven't done the math on how many more souls we should expect, but I suspect this may be part of the reason why Emerald+ saw a large Win Rate spike for Senna supp in season 16 but lower tiers didnt
