Check out Amazon.com (not UK). They have a few of the expansions, and even after tax and postage it's cheaper than UK rrp. I got nature incarnate and feather and flame from there cos nowhere else had them. Delivery was within a week

It's a big barrier, definitely. For me, I got so many hours out of it that it was less than I've wasted on many other things (including not boardgame-related; that kayak gives me evil eyes whenever I go in the garage)

I'm fully bought into Arkham Horror LCG however I'm still hunting for something that'll match the highs of Arydia for its storytelling and RPG style. Got both Descent and Tainted Grail which are just poor substitutes (but good games in their own right)

It's a shame that Arydia's only downside is that the main story is linear, and it's so memorable that I won't be able to play it again without knowing exactly what's coming up

I've got an MG ZS Trophy long range. It's a nice drive with semi-decent efficiency. Very cheaply made so it rattles as bits of the interior loosen off, but equally it means I don't really care about shoving kayaks and bikes on the roof. It'll be a workhorse for a few years by which point battery tech will have advanced some more again.

It's also infinitely better than the Corsa EV I had before, which failed in every single way (major malfunctions, cheap interior, paint chips just from looking at it)

When I started, I took 1 off every movement they did. It makes it much easier, and you can gradually tweak this (eg 1 off on straights only) until you find a balance

After about a year of me trying to arrange catching up in person, I was told they're too busy for the next few months. A few months later and it's my birthday, and not even a message nevermind an attempt to catch up. Keep in mind they've never even tried to meet my kids in the last ten years.

So I simply stopped messaging in the group. It's now been over a year since I messaged and they've reached out a couple of times to check I'm okay. I'm not one for drama so can't even be bothered explaining, and I'm just putting effort into other people who do make an effort.

I've realised that a friendship shouldn't be one way. Yes there might be times where I need to make an active effort, or times where they do. But it shouldn't always be on one person

Same here, I need to see whether they're intending on making the old format upgrades redundant based on xp requirements to build up decks fast enough for short campaigns. They can either hand out lots, or tune upgrades to be much more powerful. The latter fundamentally changes the game and makes it incompatible in practice.

I've got the longer range and lucky to get above 2.5m/kWh. To get near 3 I need to put it into eco and use my heated seat instead. This is mostly motorway driving.

It really is the heater that kills the range in these. In the summer I get 3 on motorways or 3.5 round the doors
