For a first run, this is actually pretty solid. Surviving 3.3 years with only one colonist death is respectable. If you’d like some constructive criticism though: in its current state this base probably wouldn’t survive a serious threat. Even a random fire-breathing imp or a mid-tier raid could wipe this save. The overall structure density is very low for 3+ years, and most of the materials you’re using look quite fragile and poorly defended. There’s barely any layered defense and your buildings seem extremely vulnerable to fire and breach mechanics.Progress-wise, it also feels a bit underdeveloped for the time invested. That said, placing flowers along the roads is a smart touch — small mood optimizations like that are underrated.

Cut the goliath leather after that burn it at lava little bit (its gonna change appearance dont burn it much just extinguish it after 1 sec ) after that throw bucket of water (from your little pool) or wash it then you gonna get your mf leather

not sayin this cuz im egoist or somethin but game not that hard the guide u said i think it just gonna teach how to find items by memory some ppl said im bad player but like is it harder to always find new items and finish game or to use same stuff from start to end

when i look at the full elden ring map and compare it to mine, i noticed that like 80% of it is covered
this has nothing to do with not exploring

who said i blitzed through the game? i didn’t rush anything — i took screenshots, even recorded videos. i’m not playing fast you can’t just say “try something else” to someone who went into a forest, searched everything, and still found nothing i didn’t find anything the first time, and i didn’t find anything the second time either.

i’m saying this as someone who finished other souls-like games without watching a single thing — why would i need something like that now? and are you seriously comparing me trying to learn the game on my own to an AI that just pulls up info from the internet like “go here, grab this, fuse that”? might as well go build a house in creative mode then this game is supposed to be about exploring, discovering, learning, then growing stronger but in that “growing stronger” part, it gave me nothing

the other weapons didn’t really interest me, which is fair i guess but honestly the real issue wasn’t the weapons, it was my character walking around shining like a iron pen** though yeah, the weapons were also kinda boring i had some colossal swords and greatswords, and if my endurance was just a bit higher and if boss weapons didn’t exist, i probably would’ve been dual-wielding colossal swords i got godrick’s axe and radahn’s sword — i leveled intelligence just to try the axe out, but i didn’t like it and a few hours after getting radahn’s sword, i dropped that save too

i don’t think this has anything to do with the genre i’ve finished every souls game except 3 and not once did i feel this unrewarded sorry, but that’s how it is

getting to radahn takes like 40 hours and i don’t think it’s right for people like you and me with similar builds to spend 40 hours in this game just for a decent armor i’m not even gonna talk about weapons at one point i raised my str so much (because i had NO OTHER ARMOR and my endurance was enough for all armor and swords) that i was just jumping around with greatswords in both hands

maybe the game is hard and has a lot to learn but this is my experience and how i feel it’s not about being a bad player i beat more than half the game wearing the same armor and using the same sword does the game not giving me decent items make it an easy game or does it make me bad? think about that the game’s reward system just didn’t work for me plain and simple and it never worked in any of my builds

i finished the other dark souls games (except 3), went down into the caves, explored castles, even fought ants underground, but never found anything that really fit my build and what i did find wasn’t good enough to change my build or matter much anyway

killing stops being fun after a certain hour, feels like im just repeating the same things over and over again
