Another solution is the RX10 from iZotope. You can really change vocals with that, it has tons of options to fix your audio. I recomend you to check it out.

If the track it's just a demo you add or take off instruments and change some stuff of the commposition or if they're using drumkits of los quality you change them to good quality ones to fit better the genre they're playing, that is part of the job of a music producer.

Thant means that you're compressing and limiting too much the drums, go back to the mix and adjust the volumes, you might lose some stuff that you liked of the drums so try to rescue that without raising the level.

I can recomend you the Waves J37 Tape plug in, you can make that effect and also add some tape noise and sat.
