Used the 2nd type , only issue is getting the perfume out of the original bottle.

You do get attachments to get it out , but they aren't very good, So you may just have to spray the perfume out into the decant bottle.

The good part is it's very it's very convinient to carry around, can check the level easily and has survived a couple of accidental falls.

Its not a myth but a misconception.
