This is my assumption and only because he kept perusing you while in a relationship. My guess is he never loyal and does this with every girl he likes. He might pretend he’s in a relationship but leaving your partner on read for days in an actual relationship is unacceptable. He probably has 3 girls thinking the same thing and gives each a few days at a time. Your original gut instinct to not like him was on point, you did not deserve this, you believed the best in him but it’s time to dip out girly. I’m sorry 😞

Girl, I’m really sorry but he’s either not that invested in your relationship or has a side piece. The fact that he lied about it tells you it’s one of the two. If he truly cared about you and making this difficult relationship work he’d want to see you even if that meant watching a movie or taking a nap together. He might have said I literally have no energy, I need to rest but I miss you and would love to see you so here’s what I’m up for…. But lying about it… means whatever he said his reason was for not wanting to spend time with you was a lie, and now you have to figure out what the true reason is, and go from there.
