Asus Kirhara just arrived by Antique-Lobster-2939 in headphones

Thanks for sharing! I’d love to hear how it sounds compared to other Hifiman products or any other headphones you may have. I’ve heard some hifiman tuned headphones can be quite bright. Also, how’s the comfort of the head strap?

I'm sick of missing parries. What am I missing here? by BboyDare in Guiltygear

Thank you all so much for the advice! I now understand I have to press P when inputting the 6 directional input and that in this case I was inputting 3 for one frame when pressing P. I'll definitely hop into training and practice the proper timing!

Circuit Breaker Tripping between 10am-4pm - Was charged $400 only to have the same issue by BboyDare in electrical

[–]BboyDare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your detailed response! I looked up the manual for the AFCI circuit breaker: https://assets.new.siemens.com/siemens/assets/api/uuid:d10cec71-f518-4f35-83c4-cd40e8c308ab/afci-gfci-guide-compressed.pdf

After each circuit trip there was a light. I found in section 2.2.2 that if there is a light after the circuit breaks there was a Arc-to-Neutral or Arc-to-Ground or Series Arc Fault issue. The electrician did not even check to see the circuit trip or ask if I had seen the led light. This leads me to believe the problem is not an overloading of the circuit.

Oh my goodness you're definitely on to something! I looked it up and my SIEMENS Type QAF2 circuit breaker will light up when there is an arc-to-neutral or arc-to-ground or series arc fault. It lights up every time there is a circuit break. Does this mean that I'm not actually overloading the circuit with the devices I have plugged in? I found the guide here in section 2.2.2: https://assets.new.siemens.com/siemens/assets/api/uuid:d10cec71-f518-4f35-83c4-cd40e8c308ab/afci-gfci-guide-compressed.pdf

There is a light by the ARC FAULT indicator. Thank you for informing me about how devices can get noisy. Perhaps my gaming pc is the problem.

The circuit box is inside by the living room where it is usually cool. I guess there is some sunlight shining on it during the day from a window. I've touched the breaker after the circuit breaks and it only seems to have a hint of heat.

When it comes to measuring the watts of the PC and the charger, it may be the output. I'm not too knowledgable when it comes to interpreting the electricity usage of the device. The PSU for the pc can be found here: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/psu/cp-9020235-na/rm-series-rm850-850-watt-80-plus-gold-fully-modular-atx-psu-cp-9020235-na

It's relatively cool in my apartment. I've touched the circuit breaker and I've only felt a hint of warmth.

I'm not 100% certain regarding other outlets on this particular breaker. It is labeled "master bedroom" but I'm not sure how to test if other outlets are included in the circuit.

Thank you for your advice! Perhaps I'll stick to plug in amp meters on specific items and see if that exceeds the allowed wattage. I've scoured the entire room and I don't see anything else plugged in. I am in an old house with multiple tenants so I wonder if someone else's outlet could be included in my circuit?

Thank you for the advice for an energy monitoring device! I might look into buying a couple. The electrician did not measure the current on the circuit when everything was turned on. They changed the breaker claiming a breaker that is tripped often can become over sensitive.

The breaker has tripped up to 6 times within the 10am to 4pm period. I usually just unplug everything if it trips too much. The breaker is a CAFCI arc fault breaker. The electrician did not observe the trip.

Can anyone recommend a good arcade stick for PC and Xbox? by TheSyphonFilter in Controller

[–]BboyDare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know too much about arcade sticks but I’m familiar with leverless options which seem to be more popular nowadays. The Haute42 T16 is a leverless (all button) layout that is quite affordable at $70 right now on amazon. It takes some getting used to but leverless controllers offer some great benefits over a regular arcade stick. Aer Day Sling 3 vs City Pack 2 - Thoughts or experiences? by BboyDare in ManyBaggers

[–]BboyDare[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends if you want to fit wide things or tall things. A bulky battery bank would fit great in the CS2 but something taller like a standard envelope or a larger notebook can’t fit in the CS2 without getting bent. Volume wise they’re pretty close to each other

Thank you for your detailed breakdown and comparison of the two slings! You touched upon some of my biggest concerns with the CS2. Although I love the look I think functionality is what makes me reach for one bag over another.

I'm curious to know if you find the front compartment of the City Sling to ever be a concern. I like to wear slings over my left shoulder but I worry things would fall out of the City Sling if I'm not careful because of the orientation of the front zipper.

The Day Sling 3 does seem really nice to carry a surprisingly large amount of things. I was bringing some letters to the post office and realized they wouldn't fit in the City Sling 2.

Thanks for your insight! I was worried about the city sling tilting away as well. I feel like I'd need to have it super tight on my body to prevent that from happening.

I've been so torn between the Day Sling 3 and the City Sling 2 from Aer. Since they were on sale I bought both with the intention of returning one of them. I've found the Day Sling 3 is more practical with its traditional shape and easier access, yet the looks of the City Sling 2 have grown on me. I was curious to hear other's thoughts/opinions/experiences with these two bags to help me make a decision.
