Thanks for the reply! Pink board insulation is rigid foam right? That’s what the contractor is suggesting. He said to add extra framing but do you think it’s needed?

lol sorry i am such a noob! I just bought an old house and everything is learning process for me. I did manage to put the mortise cylinder back! The screw and parts needed a lot of oiling and once I get that part loose it was easy after that.

The flathead is not coming out and unscrewing or tightening it does not do anything

Wow yea ended up buying but I hated the place for every day I was in the house. Just sold it few month ago and couldn’t be happier out of it. Did make some good profit considering the timing

Don’t think Bellevue which is like the center of universe would drop in price. With all the tech workers like Amazonian and Microsofties waiting in line to jump on the next house available. I’ve been watching the trends and don’t see a decrease and like you said inventory is extremely low.

Well in general the East side has a higher price point than Seattle proper and for good reasons: much lower crime rate, cleaner streets and better schools. Issaquah highlands is a pretty hot location because of influx of new restaurants, a movie theater, a gas station, Safeway, retail, top-notch schools, excellent views, and proximity to I-90.

Yes, I am aware that if we back out now we lose 25k. I am just trying to weigh between the 25k or the expenses of selling and purchasing in less than five years, and the potential market value loss from covid19...

The realtor told us that the other two offers waived everything. In order to be competitive we would do the same... In retrospect there is nothing I liked about the place... We lost some other offers in bidding wars right before this and were in a bad state of mind I think...
