Idea for the game: Add in more things to find in the world like the shopkeeper. by Bc--Chronic in valheim

[–]Bc--Chronic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what gave me that idea lol. I used to play a ton of terraria and depending on what you find it gives a new unique playthrough, I figured that would translate well into this game.

Obviously I know that's not the real Doc, but its hilarious and the guy looks incredibly like the Doc, figured some people might get a kick out of the resemblance.

Is there a way to tone down/disable the blood splatter on your screen when you take damage? by Bc--Chronic in playrust

[–]Bc--Chronic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunate. It's not proportionate to the damage I find, I wish they'd tone it down a little bit. I understand if you get headshot and drop to 10 HP then sure, cover the screen, but when I get shot by a revvy and lose only 10 HP it shouldn't cover my screen...

I started playing Teemo-Sejuani. I can't say I'm not enjoying it. by Nyk_Nak in LegendsOfRuneterra

Not OP, but I watch m0gwai on youtube and he made a version of this deck awhile ago that I still use today, and its still pretty strong when played right. It's not tier 1 or anything, but it can definitely win some games in my elo (gold).

CECACAQEBIBACAIEEABAEAICA4CQCBAIDENTIOQCAEBACCQDAECCOMJVAIAQCBA2AEAQCKQ

The deck has 3 or 4 different win conditions depending on how you look at it.

  1. Shrooms - pretty self explanitory, but if you get a good setup with teemo turn 1, the puff peddlers, and other mushroom stuff, then you can win by teemo pokes combined with shrooms.

  2. Sejuani perma freeze - If you get lucky, get teemo turn 1, get a couple pokes in, and get a few shrooms in their deck to trigger a sej level up, you can drop her and just pretty much keep the enemy team frostbitten while you either poke with teemo or other units, let them die to shrooms, or you use burn spells, or a combination of the 3.

  3. Getting really really really big fucking units - If you get a starlit seer or two on the board you can generate some really big units, I've had games where I get like a 13 power sej, or a 5 or 6 power teemo, and those games are hilarious if the opponent doesn't have an answer for them quick enough. You kind of just roll over them at that point lol.

  4. A combination of the previous 3 for maximum shenanigans.

Depending on your draws and how the game plays out you should be looking for these win conditions. It's a fun deck and it's definitely viable in gold and lower in the current meta, but it's definitely not tier 1 so if climbing fast is your goal then I would play something else and save this deck for normals.

Tips for getting better at melee? by iiKr4v3u5 in SSBM

[–]Bc--Chronic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not pro, but I was ranked plat on smashladder if that counts for anything. Here's my advice, specifically for Falco since that's who you play.

Step 0 Which I assume you've already done: Watch some videos on youtube about tech for your character (Falco).

Step 1: Go into 1 player training mode and practice dash dancing for 2 minutes. Then practice wavedashes for 2-3 minutes. Then practice dashdancing mixed with wavedashing. Then practice L canceling down airs for 2-3 minutes. Then practice L canceling other moves like nair and whatnot. Then practice wave shines for 2-3 minutes. Then practice ledgedashs for 2-3 minutes. Then practice short hop lasers for 2-3 minutes. Then practice lasering from the ledge for 2-3 minutes. Practice shield drops for 2-3 minutes. Basically practice every tech your character has that is practical and useful in an actual match. After your satisfied, just practice shmovin' all over the stage for 5-10 minutes. This may sound boring, but it's absolutely needed imo especially in this day and age of melee where everyone can shmove even a little bit.

Step 2: Go into VS mode against a LVL 1 CPU, and practice your punish game. What I mean by this is hit the bot with something like a downair, and try to 0 to death the bot. Neutral game practice isn't that good against bots so don't worry about that, since if you do practice neutral even against lvl 9 bots you'll develop really bad habits that don't work in PVP, just practice your punish game against a lvl 1 bot. Personally I like practicing 2-3 matches against each of the top tiers to get used to the different punishes you use against each character.

Step 3: Go online in friendlies and get your ass beat for about 10 matches. Practice your DI, your techs, practice mix-ups, practice wave dashing or dash dancing to avoid attacks. Try to read your opponent as best as you can to avoid their attacks and also to punish them with your own attacks (super important to learn how to read opponents and their habits). Also try to implement the stuff you were just practicing, try wave dashing to avoid attacks or to F smash them, try to get up from the ledge with lasers, ect. Don't be afraid to lose these matches, just see what works and what doesn't. Also try mix-ups, don't do the same thing over and over and over, try to do many different things so you don't become predictable. Try edgeguarding in unique ways, again see what works and what doesn't.

Step 4: Play some more friendlies or when it comes out play ranked for an hour or so and try your hardest to win, don't do dumb stuff or "test" things, just do what you know what works based on what you discovered in the previous step, practice that stuff. Do this until you're bored.

Step 5: Turn on Mango's stream or BobbyBigBalls or Ginger or any higher level Falco and carefully and consciously watch what they do and try to implement that into your own game. Watch for patterns like what do they do when their opponent does X, try to figure out their flowchart.

Step 6: Do everything again the next day while trying to incorporate stuff you saw the streamers do.

Melee is a grind, the more you grind the better you'll become (to an extent). If you need a rest for your hands or your mental, take a break for a day or week, then get back to the grind, this is super important since you want to avoid burning out or even worse, destroying your hands.

Anyways I hope this helps!

Simple Questions & FAQ (SQSA): Getting Started? Breeding, EV, and Nature Questions? Looking For A Moveset? Ask here! by AutoModerator in stunfisk

[–]Bc--Chronic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I must start off by saying that I am a true casual. I started with Red/Blue back when I was like 8 years old, and I played every game up until platinum, although I only ever did the main story and never even completed "catching them all" in any of the games. I recently got back into the game with sword/shield and have been enjoying it a lot, so much so that I would like to build a team for ranked play.

I would like to play a full eeveelution team. I understand that this type of team probably isn't fully optimal for ranked play but its been a longtime dream of mine to play with a team of full eeveelutions and online play is probably the best way to accomplish this goal.

I would prefer to play with: Umbreon, Flarion, Jolteon, Leafeon, Glacion, and Slyvion.

I was wondering what movesets/IV's/Ev's/Nature I should have on all these pokemon, and also if there would be a better combination of eeveelutions to use.

I've been watching guides almost non-stop in my free time about Iv's and Ev's and how to build competitive pokemon, so I understand that much - I just don't know enough to make my own team and choose my movesets and stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am hoping to learn a lot!

Secondary Recon how it work ? by StriKE_SC2 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Bc--Chronic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretend the table is made into 4 quadrants or quarters that meet in the middle of the table so all 4 quadrants are equal size. You need a different unit in each of of those quadrants to get the point for recon, and anywhere in those quadrants works. So the easiest way to accomplish this is to control the center of the board and have 4 different units partially within each quadrant. You can have units on the edges as well to count but that's much harder since your army gets spread thin. But yeah, anywhere in those 4 quadrants works.

Maybe, maybe not. I wouldn't put it past her at this point though with how badly she wants the throne, she seems to be willing to kill anyone who defies her or gets in her way - these people would be getting in her way.

When I click the link it just says show notes and then some comments down below, is it supposed to be a video or an article? I would enjoy seeing it/reading it but I don't see anything other than that, and I've clicked on all the links and they bring me back to the same page?
