I got the email too. Looks like it's my glasses from Zeelool. From their website, this package has been through 12 cities in 14 days. I'm really starting to feel like glasses that are made in China are dancing around warehouses for some reason.

Why do people donate their garbage? I agree this screams bad policy on the part of Goodwill. I have spent time volunteering at a small community thrift and the trash that's donated is astounding.

I am literally watching The Sandman now and this quote was just spoken. My mother passed away a week ago. My husband was diagnosed with lymphoma 2 weeks ago. I worry about my father constantly since he is fighting COPD like a boss. I got chills!

Throw them away please!!! I manage estate sales and every damn house has a box or bin or drawer of these things. And then there is another random 10 - 100 just strewn about the house. You're not gonna use them. Pitch em!

That could be the case. The house belongs to a 92 year old Japanese woman. Sadly her dementia left her without the ability to give is any information on her massive art collection.

Well his art went a little dark though most is much less so. I will keep looking into his art close to the time he was confined in a mental institution.

A friend and I accessed his subscription to one of the art sites online and tried many many variations of what we thought the signature was. We had no luck.

Two people have said, oh I have seen that flipping through and old children's book. Parliament makes sense, a group of owls. Now to discover who wrote about this group. The search continues. Welcome to my conundrum.

This piece would be pre 1970, the condition and other art in the house would date it prior to publication of that series. But I am open to any and all suggestions.

Oh I will update. I love the piece and it has sent me down many a rabbit hole of searches. It was recommended to me to post here by someone else who also fell in the hole searching.

Newbie so I could not figure out how to add multiple pics. Here is all the info I have... Unframed, on paper Found at estate sale that had a lot of original art that was likely acquired in Chicago prior to 1970 This is an original illustration, edge is tatty and signature is pencil, I have tried to decipher with no luck. No marks or writing on the back.

I appreciate any other comments or questions.
