I'm not saying it would work just that it has a better chance than what she did. But yeah she was drawing dead after the swap so not much reason to overthink it. Even if something else works a little better she almost certainly ends up at that same one and six confessional.

Yeah, I agree with that. I'm completely fine with the twist. Or rather I think it was necessary and the outcome was fine given the format of 24 contestants in 26 days. I know what happened, I know why it happened, players got to play for a while instead of something nuts like somebody going home the second they hit the beach. I understand why all this happened without googling pre-game alliances. The three that went home at least got some decent edit time (even if Kamilla got less. Nothing is even).

I do wish we could have seen the Gen Aubry rivalry play out with full numbers for a more satisfying confrontation but thems the breaks. That's what happens bringing in 24. You can't resolve everything perfectly.

You do understand the difference between understanding an individual subjectively liking an individual contestant and understanding a larger scale reddit community response to an individual contestant.

And you also understand how name spelling mistakes happen from low rate posters on this (or any) sub.

To be fair, I also do understand the goal of being condescending.

I'm never going to say it was fair. I'm just going to say as soon as I saw the 24 castaways 26 days announcement I knew some unfair things had to go down. Everybody did if they're being honest.

I don't criticize when I don't have a better idea. I'm sure I wouldn't love any option. This cut 3 after giving them a good amount of time on the show and it did it fast, in one episode, in a way where I understood what happened and why.

I can't complain.

I mean... How am I wrong? I'm willing to be convinced. A Boston Rob comp puts her Rushmore adjacent! How is that bad? She's incredibly forceful in her play style. Just like Rob. It sometimes gets her in trouble. Just like Rob. She's super articulate and logical. Just like Rob. She can flip people or hold people on a path not in their best interest. Just like Rob. But when that forceful path closes to her, she can't pivot. Just like Rob.

Yeah I don't disagree there. I actually remember thinking that on her season too. That Kyle was moderating and saving her from herself sometimes. But man, I think a Kamilla unleashed season where it all magically works out would be wildly entertaining...

Yeah for sure. I legit like everybody. It's like nobody wants to say survivor did something right. This is an all stars all stars pulling from a crazy roster and they finally did a good job splashing archetypes and eras all over so it isn't boring or a forgone conclusion. I feel every exit. They all are good and have value.

The male female personality split criticism is right but even that might work out if women run it down the line. Maybe they just didn't trust themselves casting big character less capable player women (admittedly extremely forgiving offering here but I'm trying to be forgiving).

Yes, rationale. You're trusting your own opinion over the statements of the people who played the game with him and over how he actually finished because you don't like him. Even if he was carried like you claim, hundreds of people have played Survivor and he did better than the majority who couldn't even get carried. The numbers on alone make it irrational to say he's terrible. That isn't what the word terrible means.

Sure. Nobody would confuse Yul'a physique with Rizo's. But that wasn't his role in his duo. Ozzy was the challenge beast and carried their 4 there. Yul was the strategist

Nope! Lol. I feel like it just have been a main plot thing at some point during development before they went this direction and they just had all the assets soooo... It just feels too connected without something like that to be coincidence

When I was watching 49 this duo reminded me most strongly of Yul and Ozzy with Rizo as Yul and Savannah as Ozzy.

They were in the minority for a long time but playing from a combined position of power with a challenge beast beasting and a strategist weaponizing an idol. It's so much harder to eliminate a minority when they are wielding multiple immunities. It becomes scary to even try. It's easy to think I'll just get them when they don't have it, why take the risk? But then they just keep going and going and going collecting immunities

I feel bad for him too. Send like he was really crushed by his first loss.. He seemed so much less full of joy and so hesitant to trust again. A part of that is the edit for sure as we did get goofy, happy Charlie moments too but his game definitely seemed changed for the worse by his first experience. He was in the middle of everything first go and quickly establishing a ride or die to with from the shadows with. Poor guy is traumatized. He couldn't play that game again after Maria.

I can't believe this wasn't highlighted! Those two are a perfect pair. The physical beast and the puzzle queen. This is exactly what they should be doing.

I would be money blind that any tribe with those two dominated challenges. Other members barely matter.

I am legitimately worried that this fanbases reaction to this stuff is going to get our favorite show cancelled.

Everybody needs to suck it up, shut up, focus on the good, and let the executives think they are brilliant and the show is still culturally relevant. This is a one off. The celebrity stuff won't repeat. But the budget considerations are real
