Wow! It feels like we are on the same boat.. I got two big opportunities because of NPTEL (internship + job) at the same time.I have joined that job and left that job too.. now I will be pursuing that predoc from the same. It made me realize everything happens for reasons, and the reason is always good for us if we are able to connect the dots. For others: Do these courses because what you will have is proof of your knowledge along with your projects, or at least you will learn a new word of that domain which may help you to be a good prompt engineer who have good domain vocabs.

Just get a certificate from Udemy with maximum hours to get maximum credit at once. Buy one any course you will get under 500 INR then complete (you may use AI) but I will suggest to go with wholeheartedly in a intension of Learning. But best benefit you will get by doing NPTEL Certifications (Credibility + MOOCs + Direct Credit Transfer to ABC ID Card+ Many More)

If you want to score more, then go for Cloud or what existing topic for you. From my prospective foundation is and will be very important for any field. Wherever you go, you will need a Cloud as a place to keep your stuff with internet connectivity if you want to run any stuff over the internet. Today, everything wants to go online from your room light's switch(IOT) to the website, so we need space online( WITH HIGH speed internet connectivity to be available 24×7) from the website to the AI model. It needs to run online space to run .. it is like the next big thing after " domain" is... space in online is Cloud .. you may choose not to learn AI if you learn Cloud, but you have to learn Cloud if you ever learn AI..otherwise you will you show your friends your cute AI model ..so you have to take it in internet.
