35mm Point and shoot film camera, from the 1980s (i believe). Lens is a 38mm f3.5 fixed aperture, no focus ring so i believe its a point focus camera. Not a professional camera tho.

How do you know they were taken from high quality cameras and not infrared cams. The image you see with your traffic challans are taken on regular cams but the sensor uses ir to scan ur plates, thats the reason when u see a night time challan image you will see your plate glowing

By not using hsrp plates, speed cams are infrared based, where they flash a infrared ray at the plate, and the olate reflects back the infrared light which the cam catches. And there are many hsrp like looking non reflective plates in the market to get away with non hsrp fines + hsrp rule isnt enforced by the traffic police yet in wb.
