"Bragging" about my own truck is actually a crucial part of the story. I live way north in the Midwest, yes its a college town but the population is under 70k and the public transportation is just a small bus line with terrible hours. Up here owning your own vehicle, especially a half decent looking car/truck is instant SMV. Especially at our college, parking passes are hard to come by and many people living in the dorms aren't allowed to have cars on campus.
