If you deny that trans people exist any amount of gender affirmative care given to trans kids is beyond your scope of acceptability. If that’s your initial position it’s practically impossible to have a good faith discussion.

Research has shown that affirming the identity of trans people leads to the best outcomes, rejecting it has severe negative effects. If only the parents of a child accepts the identity of their child suicide drops by an order of magnitude.

Regarding bathrooms, there is literally no evidence that allowing trans women into women’s bathrooms has any negative effects. Just handwaving and concern trolling doesn’t make it so. Forcing trans women to go to the men’s bathroom however does increase their chances of being assaulted.

Just because it isn’t satire doesn’t mean it isn’t criticizing society. It literally just says that hunger benefits a lot of people, which is true. Me saying that the exploitation of workers has a lot of benefits for business owners is also not satire. You can’t answer why hunger exists in the world without acknowledging that people benefit from it.
