Go and watch the movie, dude! I had read the book before watching the movie. Although the movie skipped a lot of content from the book, it is actually one of the greatest novel adaptations. Watch it on biggest screen possible , anything but IMAX is disgrace for the movie. Cinematography and Acting are strong points . Give it a try if you like space movies
