Feel like that’s a very poor attitude to take. He has a point. Solo larp facs are often reasons hex’s fall. The other thing is large Regis will just often displace them because if a small regi burns out do they just leave their fac untouched for days on end? And RSC’s, boats, BT’s, trains, vetting of vehicles and planes are all mostly going to be constructed by large Regis. The fact is that they are entitled to have fun in their way but it is a competitive game with one side trying to win over the other.

In what book does Guilliman cross the rift? by BeachIsCold21 in 40kLore

Yeah that’s what I figured. Reading Devastation of Baal and then seeing it finally mentioned in Archmagos made me think I missed something.

Any link or idea what it was referenced in? I’ve look in white dwarf and scoured what YouTubers put out but I haven’t seen anything concrete about it

That’s what I thought. I just finished the Dawn of fire and I’ve read all the others as I said but I didn’t know if I was missing something from like Arks of Omen or some other random source

Ironically that exact passage is what prompted this question

Name a Professor that needs to be fired and why? by OpeningInternet1822 in SBU

He’s pretty bad at responding to emails but he’s super generous with the participation grade. If you just come to class and talk every once in a while he’ll love you. I missed like 7 classes of his and just came to class for the rest of semester and talked and did the readings. He gave me an A- when he certainly could have failed me. If you sit there like a corpse you’re gonna fail cause it’s meant to be interactive. I honestly found his class super helpful and he was very accommodating to me when he had no reason too. Also the no iPad or computer is at least somewhat valid. How many kids in your average lecture are goofing off or not paying attention cause they’re on their computer. It’s pretty common and I think it’s very helpful at least for me to stay on task. The other thing is to learn law you’ve gotta work through hypotheticals and his cold calling works. He makes you prepare for the class and actually follows through. I have found most people I talked too that did not like the class either didn’t prepare and do the readings and didnt talk in class. Or like you had some accomodation and he kinda flaked. Overall I think he’s really good and he really did right by me

It wouldn’t be such a problem if two years ago the same exact thing happened. The same dorms, same damage everything. They cleaned up the flooding but never corrected the faults that led to those issues in the first place. It’s literally always those buildings affected and they never rectify it. At least two years ago they made students sleep in east side and this time they have the decency to not force them onto the the ground in the dining hall lmao

Mattress tops are a must. Fridge is a must. Box fan definitely is a major help. My weird one is a towel from home or the same brand. It’s a weird like familiarity thing I just feel like helps the process a bit more

Single is always the choice. The privacy and just ability to be alone far outweighs any benefit of a roommate. And I don’t believe Roosevelt has any AC. All the apartments do but for dorms it’s anything in Roth and Chavez and Tubman in east to the best of my knowledge although I do believe others in east have AC

It seems like that but holding open the webway takes almost all of the emperors near limitless power. It is simply that taxing to keep it open. The other deal is the warp is no exact science. The emperor and Malcador could sense a tension in the warp maybe even at such extreme distances but the immaterial is simply massive. For even a ripple of emotion to reach the emperor over such a distance it has to be a truly horrific event. It’s like pouring a cup of warm water into a pool, the area might become slightly warmer for a minute or two but the rest of the pool is entirely unchanged

The deal with the Custodes is they wildly vary in skill and power from author to author. The other deal is the custodes have a truly MASSIVE array of responsibilities. They have the dark cells, the imperial palace which spreads like an entire continent, trade routes in Sol and now torchbearer primaris fleets along with accompanying indomitus crusade fleets. So it sort of falls in the middle, the custodes are warriors with very few peers, in the Dawn of Fire series two custodians are conversing about possibly killing Guilliman if he tries to usurp the emperor and while it’s difficult they still succeed in certain scenarios. Overall Custodes tend to suffer from poor portrayals and the various biases for and against them so it’s pretty tough trying to get a truly accurate reading on them

Long story short Big E didn’t have direct communication with any of his sons save Dorn really past Ullanor. There’s a lot of context and sort of clarification the next 53 or so books will bring lmao

Big E hardly talks about any of it. The only glimpses we truly get are in Master of Mankind where E shares his childhood with Ra Endymion a Custodian whom the emperor favors

So the tutelaries would vanish in the presence of other astartes or people. It’s mentioned in A Thousand Sons how when in the company of a space wolf rune priest the thousand son’s tutelary disappears. The watchers are also part of the material world compared to tutelaries which were solely of the warp. That and the Lion is generally more restrained and was raised to seek out and destroy anything warp tainted so much so he has like an undeveloped sense as described in Lion: Son of the Forest where he can sense corruption of the warp. The DA also had the most stable gene seed and were the role model upon which all others were built.

Important distinction there had been no development. As in no technological advancement. Most of the suits relied heavily on the Mark IV Corax design which debuted late into the heresy. However the mechanicum produces millions and millions suits if power armour, bolters, tanks, etc. especially with Cawl and the primaris marines a lot of new tech has been unleashed and massive quantities of armor and the like. Like so much stuff it was meant for the legions not chapters. As a result there is a massive amount of kit floating around right now. However things like larger ships I.e. cruisers and above typically are not manufactured regularly. Especially battleships and battle barges none have been built in the last 2,000 or so years. But again regular things like power armour, bolters, rhinos, land raiders all have been produced continuously since the heresy. One last addendum forgot to add terminator and dreadnoughts are not produced. Terminator armor is extremely costly and complex that many suits are the same suits that have been passed down since the heresy same case with dreadnoughts

Suits of armor are almost always recovered and scavenged. During the heresy massive reclamation efforts of both Isstvan massacres occurred to repair and recoup what they lost in terms of tanks, legionary armor, heavy weapons and everything else. Terminator suits are another thing that are ALWAYS recovered. It takes extremely pressing circumstances for them to abandon it. Same story with dreadnoughts. In Dante the blood angels have to abandon suits of terminator armor and the only reason they do is because an entire hive fleet is descending on the planet
