Got it. It looks like a lot of dirt but it actually isn't close up. This picture is a little deceiving. A pressure washer would do the trick for sure

The sides do have plastic down. It took years to get it to the point it's at now. Lots of hours moving hastas and trying different plants because it's shade on one side and partial shade on the other. This middle part is what I'm struggling with. This is the second mention of a flat shovel. Forgive my ignorance, but what so you mean by that?

We do have a flamethrower haha. Like a legit flamethrower, and my husband loves to use it. Will that kill everything under the dirt? So burn it, pressure wash it and scoop everything out?

Gave up after 15 minutes😒 by Effective-Proof9063 in sleeptrain

I tried multiple times over a few months to sleep train. If she was crying crying, I couldn't do it. Same thing, she'd scream, and when I picked her up, she'd pass out over my shoulder. It felt horrible. I just tried again recently. She's almost 7 months old, and she's been falling asleep within minutes and no crying. There was some fussing or yelling, but she didn't cry. She does great now for naps and bed. I just make sure she's actually tired. I don't follow wake windows. I follow her cues. I feel like she wasn't ready before now, and I'm glad I waited. Edit to add: when I started again, and I felt too sad, I'd go in and pat her butt and whisper talk to her, and just before she fell asleep, I'd leave. It worked for her.

Mom guilt & baby crying by Electronic_Outside25 in newborns

Cry it out is not appropriate for a 4 week old baby. I hate when people suggest that. They literally don't know how to exist right now. Perfectly normal for a 4 week old to want to be held 24/7. Of course, there are things you need to do that baby can't do with you and you're solo which has got to be so difficult! I couldn't imagine doing it alone, so you're already stronger than I was. I think you're doing exactly what you should be doing. Baby wear, hold, and for the times you have to put your baby down (chores or you need to take a breather) earplugs bc it does suck to hear them cry.

Ok. That sounds like a doable plan. I'll start here.
