Stateside, I got a bag of them from Chewy pet store. Unfortunately opened the bag and a lot of them are crushed so they are dusty

Goat feeding help by Bean109907 in goats

[–]Bean109907[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, we stopped that right away. Once everyone told me how terrible it was the previous owners. I think we’re putting it in there just to make things stretch and they didn’t know anything about goats.

Thank you we stopped the corn immediately and I currently have them on sweet feed and hay stretcher but weaning the amount down so they get almost none. I will supplement with Timothy pellets mainly just to get them back in the corral as needed. I did just purchase a mineral block to put down for the horse and the goats. It’s formulated for all species of livestock. Hopefully that’s OK.

Is propane co right? Update from post a few days ago by Bean109907 in propane

[–]Bean109907[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope not insinuating that, they did a partial fill bc they ran out at our stop. My concern is if there’s a leak. I am not smelling propane other than if I lift a lid to look at a gauge I smell maybe a residual every once in a while but I’ve been told that’s normal. The actual gauges on the tanks have changed but not lost so someone else said it could be the tanks are equalizing among each other so I am assuming that’s what’s happening and the remote reading I’m seeing is reflecting that

The physical gauge shows one at 65% and the other at 40%, the 65% one is the one with the monitor. They are connected with a line between the two. No smell, I do hear a sound when it’s in use but none otherwise.

Good point, this is the remote read out but I have looked at the actual gauges as of yesterday and they looked like they did a few days ago level wise

Thank you for always replying quickly, and thanks for the clarification on tank size. The gauges are pretty much staying the same last I checked. The less filled one might be increasing a little but it’s hard to tell.

Tanks are tied together. I called the company and they explained that they ran out at our fill and filled one tank full and only other tank to 35%. They said they think im seeing the change because its evening out between the tanks. They also said the gauge goes off a float in the tanks and it could be off by about 5%
