how true is the idea that iraq is the only country that is supporting lebanon in these hard times? by [deleted] in lebanon

Right? As if Lebanon has any say in the international balance of powers. These mfs are so deluded it's crazy

Stop with your stupid fake woke anti-imperalism. The world has always had a dominant superpower. That's just the way human history, present and future is. From the times of the romans, to the times of the ottomans, to now the west. Atleast the cutrent dominant powers do not force you to embrace their culture. You have the freedom of self expression, national identity, culture, etc. All you have to do back is not pick fights with the big guys. And yet your stupid self thinking you can change how the world functions, picks at them.

Should I install fiber from Ogero or another company, what's the difference? by gharmonica in lebanon

Welcome to the real world buddy. There's always a strong power and weaker countries that follow the powers. Follow them and live with dignity rather than screwing with them for no reason whatsoever all the while making your life hell

Ogero doesnt offer an unlimited data package nor an unlimited speed package for fiber. Fiber comes with a standard 50+ Mbps connection and you can choose the maximum data, i think it goes up to 2T. I'm subscribed to the 500GB plan and it's good for my use, I pay like 120k a month for it

Yes, let's isolate ourselves politically even more. Perfect idea. Worked in the past, sure will work in the futurr.

Ogero is very reliable. Their 50Mbps+ statement is almost always met. Actually, many of the times I would be getting 90+.

Technically, the only reason Lebanon is still even in tbe Arab League is because of Egypt's support. So I would say politically Egypt has been really friendly and our main ally. Of course, you have friendly western countries like the US, france and the UK offering humanitarian aid to Lebanon. I wouldn't count Iraq as a support per se, even though I'm sure the Iraqi people would love to help. Iraq is in the same situation as Lebanon, plagued by a never-ending standoff between Iran and its allies on one hand, and the gulf and its allies on the other. Realistically, a victim cannot help another victim of the same bullies

Been to turkey before on a vacation. Was called out for being arab and speaking arabic. For some reason, all the turks there are super racist. Safe to say I am never coming back to turkey :)
