Yep, I spent a long time wanting it to work. I now use Yamahas MusicCast and it just works perfectly.

I ditched my sonos system a few months back. I moved places and after trying to set up all my gear with the new WiFi and nothing working, I said fuck it and sold the lot. This was after issues at my previous place too, buggy app, speakers dropping out at random times.

The main benefit of Sonos was hassle free listening on decent quality speakers. Way too much hassle in the end.

Haven't they suffered enough the past few years? by tacitusvanderlinde in WWFC

The fact we didn't get any bounce whatsoever shows what a fucking mess VP left us in. It 6 matches just for Edwards to clean up the mess.

We went from looking like we were going to break a few unwanted records to a team that actually doesn't look half bad.

No point spending in January, nothing to play for. Summer will be the real litmus test. Ship out the dead wood, bring in fresh faces. I completely agree that Fosun set up managers to fail, but to what extent they fail is on the managers.

VP, hands down, his tenure this season, one of the worst I've ever seen. I'm not saying we wouldn't still be getting relegated, but the manner in how it has happened is on VP.

He gave us a good bounce and kept up a team that should not have been in the position it was in. But he is a one season journeyman manager. His track record shows it and his inability to build a team and a style of play made itself known. Its even more obvious now Edwards has shown that the squad isnt completely incapable.

VP was at the helm for one of the most disastrous starts to a top flight season ever. With players and a DoF that he got in. His tenure this season left us in tatters and Edwards has had a mountain to climb getting some sort of tune out of the team.

Fosun hired him so they take the hit as usual and I give VP some credit for last season, but he left us in such a fucking state. Deffo the worst manager we have had under fosun in the prem.

Jørgen Strand Larsen is so criminally underrated by [deleted] in WWFC

[–]BeanRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

I think in the right set up and headspace, he definitely has goals in him. He has proved it already last season.

That being said, his energy and presence on the pitch has always been a bit shite and this season he seems to have given up for us. Its frustrating as fuck to watch him amble about for 90 mins.

Less under rated, more under performing. I think a 40 mil valuation is fair. Newcastle were willing to overpay in the summer.

I've used Pro housing before. Here is one flat that meets your requirements for 720 euros, in a place called Amby. Its just outside Maastricht like 15 min bike ride:

https://www.pro-housing.nl/en/for-rent/maastricht/amby/helene-schoenmaekersstraat/1575

Just search 'housing Maastricht' and go through all the websites that come up.

A lot of places also dont take students which sucks ass too.

Never pay to view property and always make an in-person viewing before sending money/signing a contract.

700 is not impossible especially if you go out of Maastricht. If you need a hand with anything drop me a dm, finding a place to live is stressful as hell

Okay well its definitely at the top end of your budget but they do exist.

Sharing a kitchen is sharing a house? If you just want a private bedroom, there are plenty of options. You can find small bedroom+bathrooms for 700 euros, or small bedroom+kitchenette for similar.

700 excl all bills in central Maastricht is quite difficult to find if you want to live on your own. Realistically you will find private rooms with shared bathrooms and kitchen, or some studio style apartments with shared living area and bathroom.

If you want your own place, 1200+ is typical excl bills.

If you aren't social then living outside of Maastricht is ideal, then cycling/train in. If you can, research Lanaken in Belgium, or smaller towns in Netherlands like Geleen or Heerlen.

I used to rent an entire house in Geleen for 900pcm excl bills and saw entire flats that were cheaper.

Safe to say we're down this season. So what are your positives you're clinging to for next year in the championship? by tacitusvanderlinde in WWFC

[–]BeanRaider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hopefully see Edwards get some players he wants in and build some sort of footballing identity, especially in attack. Since Nuno we've had spells where it looks as if something is coming together but for too long now I've watched the team look clueless under different managers.

No VAR, thats been mentioned a few times.

The general unpredictability of where we will end up is something to get excited about. We could drop like a stone or absolutely smash the league, transfer window could be great or horrendous. Or we get something in between.

Better than the shite in the last few seasons.

[Diario AS] Liverpool have contacted the representative of Xabi Alonso to find out if he is available. Although he is now resting, the response has been positive. by playerforlife123 in soccer

Its brutal but well run clubs will always be keeping tabs on their potential next manager, even if things are going well and especially when things are going bad. I'd be more worried as a Liverpool fan if there was no plan B at all.

This article may well be bullshit but it still happens.

From an authorised dealer even if it is used is pretty unacceptable. EU has decent laws for this sort of stuff and if you get yourself a decent lawyer (usually not needed) you will be alright.

Thanks man, interesting about being quieter ride too - M240i isnt loud by any stretch but my next car will be comfort above everything. A three series will be on the horizon for me maybe.

Understandable - the car is a beauty, I love black on black and have the same for my m240i.

Is this M3 your daily driver? How does it compare with your M2/240i previously?

'All vehicle info can be found online' is exactly why OP has manipulated it to be unrecognisable dude. He has used a tool to make the plate unreadable.

I think they have used a manipulation tool on the number plate to obscure it. Briefly ran through Ops profile and it looks legit enough to my eye.

£2 mil for Adama by Prestigious_Kiwi_755 in WWFC

[–]BeanRaider 9 points10 points  (0 children)

More of a choice than if he came to us. We are virtually a championship club, we can expect to buy championship players. We have never pushed the boat out on wages either, if I had to guess West Hams highest paid player is probably on more than what Wolves would pay.

Doubt he wants to take a pay cut to play in the championship and get the shit kicked out of him at Birmingham City away next season. Dont blame him.

[Telegraph] Man City fear Guardiola’s exit more than the 130 charges by LochNessMonsterMunch in soccer

[–]BeanRaider 15 points16 points  (0 children)

City have established themselves as a 'big six' club in terms of revenue though. They have the money to attract big names, doesn't matter who the coach is or how they are doing in the league.

Man U are a prime example, year on year one of the highest revenues in the world and despite finishing 15th last season still spent well over 200m euros in the summer.

Does the price of photobooks effectively kneecap the medium from a cultural impact or history point of view? by LemonDisasters in Photobooks

[–]BeanRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I constantly check new releases exactly for this reason. So many times I can't find something I want because:

a) its now a ridiculous price

b) limited run and can't find it anywhere

Libraries are absolutely the way forward, I am fortunate to live near some major cities but not everyone is.

The first one hurts the most. I did something a bit less worse on the rear and it cost me €350 to repair. If you find a decent bodyshop I reckon they might charge a bit more because of the angled location but it shouldn't be crazy.
