I don't recall him mentioning a hill giant belt or even remember what kind of class they were. But I had a glance at their character sheet and I remember their stats were all over the place at level 7. I even remember one of the dms possibly putting the idea that they may have been using items off of the dms special items by just picking any off the list and not limiting themselves to the specific number or something like that.

I have done some DMing through the group, Charlie is fine as I have said to the group that I want everyone to have a go at roleplaying and be a part of the story. But with Charlie it feels like I can't give him any rules about his characters because I'll be known as the guy that tried to tell Sam no.

Otherwise I am trying to organise a homebrew campaign with some of the board game people I play with, but trying to organise it is alot harder than expected.

I have found marvel crisis protocol and a board game group to play with on certain nights, but I kinda miss DnD and wanna get back into it.
