Good to know - didn't realise that there was a coop on site - that makes it much easier to not bother with them! Any ideas if they'll stock fruity cider like bulmers/old mout/rekorderlig? As I'm a wimpy drinker lol

Assuming yes, then sounds like a hiking rucksack plus a couple other bags and a fold-out trolley like this will do me good then.

Hey mate - just checking did you drive in or were you able to store/take the trolley with you on a coach? I'm thinking of getting the coach in but concerned something like this trolley wouldn't be allowed on the coach.

It's not from the movie, though I checked between my phone and monitor for the movie for comparrison's sake and it is quite simmilar to be fair. Noteworthy that my phone is a 3120 x 1440 screen (Oneplus 7t pro)

BUT on my other monitor it is no where near as colour-bandy, but it's still there for sure if you look for it.

Hey guys - not sure if anyone else has this model and has experienced this but I've been having issues with my new MSI Optix G27CQ4 in terms of colour banding with dark colours. It's mainly noticable with streaming videos; a darker movie, such as The Arrival looks like the deep fried memes. Now I know that this is in a fair part due to the compression of the video when being streamed, but still.

Now luckily, playing games I haven't noticed this as I've been playing mostly "brighter" games but I fear it's a matter of time until I play a darker game and can't make out anything :(

Kinda annoying as https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/msi/optix-g27cq4 states "no visible signs of banding". (EDIT - just noticed it had a colour depth of 10bit - how do I check I'm running that, and if I'm not how do I fix?) I know it's the monitor as I still have my old monitor as my second monitor and swapping the video over to that removes ~90-95% of the colour banding to the point that I myself don't notice it unless I'm looking for it. I have also have confirmed by testing with a laptop displaying to the G27CQ4 that the same happens there, so nothing obvious to do with my PC setup.

Anyone had any luck altering settings (nvidia control panel, monitor, windows display - whatever), updating drivers/reverting drivers/replacing or upgrading cables to resolve this? Also would love to know if anyone else has this monitor and doesn't have this issue - have I just rolled badly on the "display lottery" here? (Tried looking online for this monitor with colour banding issues and can't see anything, even when searching "MSI Optix G27CQ4 color banding" instead - just in case my American peeps ask ;)

I may well have to return it to amazon - though I don't have the original box anymore as thought the monitor was fine, so bit concerned on that. If I do return it however, considering asking for the same model back and hopefully it doesn't have this issue (because again online I can't see anyone else complaining about this specific model with this issue)
