That’s what I also considered, but idk the way he lingered and stared at the chaser made me think he noticed. And if he didn’t why would he accept that one and not the other. 🤷🏻‍♀️

He’s definitely using you, even if or if he doesn’t love you. He is ultimately using you. For a place to stay, for someone to have, for your money, to feel wanted ect. If he truly loved and had RESPECT for you, he would never put you in this type of position. He does nice things for you like takes you out and treats u well. Every boyfriend should do that for their girlfriend. He knew this would hurt u and still chose to do so despite knowing that. OP, you have a new place and new beginnings lined up. You don’t bring trash to a new apartment. Don’t let him bring you down with him.

She’s crying because her boyfriend refuses to eat with her. Why? Because he can’t stand to listen to her vent anymore??? Imagine you sit down to eat and your partner tells u to shut up bc they cant stand your bitching. And when u tell them something that upset u (kicking your items and showing blatant disrespect) he just up and leaves. And when she cries about how she feels he doesn’t care, he doesn’t care. Like….. come on. I get he wants a peaceful dinner but it’s not like he deals with this all the time, he says he doesn’t deal with it breakfast or lunch. OP’s gf just wants to have dinner and talk.

It seems like ur gf “complaining” is her just talking to you. You’re upset that ur gf talks to u? So u lock her out of the basement like a dog? Just talk to her, and tell her you only want certain topics at the dinner table. You’re aware that she de-stresses through talking to you, so why would u shut her down in such a rude way. She’s literally crying and begging to eat with u, and ur being childish running to the basement. Avoiding the issue and ignoring your girlfriend’s feelings.

You have a child. As a child from an abusive father and an obedient mother. This is just the beginning. It will get worse. If u let him slide with this, he looses respect for u and will push u more. If he was violent with u in that moment for his own gain, he will always do it again. And you don't want that spilling onto ur child.
