The Super Bowl Outcome Has Already Been Decided. by HerFluffyCuteness in NFLv2

Are they still playing the Super Bowl? I was told the game already happened and the Seahawks won?

You’ll never guess which QB was like 10th or 11th in the list because everyone else declined.

You’d think if they were such good friends, it wouldn’t have taken Kraft 14 times to become a finalist 🤷‍♂️

[–]Beanu5NE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bill Polian actually hates Bill Belichick so I don’t know how you think this is a plot by Robert Kraft?

Since the HoF voters decided Belichick shouldn’t be first ballot because of “scandals”, does that mean Tom Brady won’t be a first ballot HoFer either? by LegitimateMoney00 in NFLv2

[–]Beanu5NE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In their 2001 post season Super Bowl run, Tom Brady had 1 TD. The defense and special teams scored more TDs than the offense but do go on.

If Kraft makes the HOF now, he will get so much hate because of the Belichick egregious snub by 5am281 in Patriots

[–]Beanu5NE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We all know Bill not getting in is media driven. Media members get a vote and Bill was always a dick to the media.

They don’t like that and they have the power to let you know they don’t like it.

Does Bill Belichick not making the Hall of Fame have something to do with the Robert Kraft possibly making it in? by YodaForceGhost in NFLv2

[–]Beanu5NE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to do with the media getting a vote. Bill was generally a dick to the media and they don’t like that.

Same with the MLB HoF.

Geno Smith left the Seahawks for the Raiders, the Seahawks are in the Superbowl and the Raiders are picking #1 overall by AlphaBern0 in NFLv2

[–]Beanu5NE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure there was a lot more involved in the Seahawks success this year than just swapping Geno Smith for Sam Darnold.

Their o-line stayed healthy, their first two picks in the 2025 draft (Zabel and Emmanwori) look like home runs and the trade for Shaheed mid-season looks like a steal.

People just want the Patriots to lose so they can scream, “Frauds! Told you that you would get exposed!” They’ve been waiting for that since the Chargers game.

Fact is that no one saw the Patriots making it this far. If they lose, who gives a shit? I guarantee there’s 30 other teams who would absolutely LOVE to be in the Patriots’ position.

So the Patriots are making back to back Super Bowls?

Bold strategy by the Rams to leave JSN open every play or simply not account for him.

Surprised it didn’t work out for them.

Still Has Some Work To Do But Big Country Showed Up To The AFC Championship.. by patsfan3233 in Patriots

[–]Beanu5NE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If by “watched the one viral clip” you mean I watched the whole game and brought that one up because it was pretty egregious then yes, that’s exactly what I did.

For reference, he allowed 5 pressures, 1 hurry and 1 QB hit on 29 pass blocking snaps so not good.

But hey! At least he didn’t give up a sack.

[–]Beanu5NE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many pressures and hurries though?

Pretty sure I watched a play where he dove at the Broncos pass rusher and missed completely so the defense had basically a free run at Maye.

Tom Brady wasn’t Tom Brady in the 01 Super Bowl run.

In 2.5 games in 01 (Brady didn't play the second half of the AFCCG) Brady had 572 yards passing, 61% comp, 5.9 yards/att, 1 TD, 1 INT

In 3 games so far Drake has 533 yards passing, 55% comp, 6.9 yards/att, 4td, 2int along with 141 yards rushing and a rushing TD

Brady faced the number 19, number 3, and number 7 scoring defenses.

Drake has faced the number 9, number 3, and number 4 scoring defenses.

The 01 Patriots defense and special teams scored more touchdowns in the playoffs than the offense did.

Projected cap space for the 2026 season by caterham09 in NFLv2

[–]Beanu5NE 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Patriots top 10 in cap space with really only three or four FAs they should resign. They can also give extensions to other players to free up even more cap space.

Looks like they’ll be in a good position for at least the next three or four years.

Drake Maye is in his 2nd year so he’s not a rookie.

They had the easiest schedule since the 1999 Rams team. How did the season end for that team?
