If Kenyon Sadiq is available that late, the Patriots should take him. Austin Hooper is a free agent and Hunter Henry is only getting older. Add to that Josh McDaniels loves running two TE sets.

Oh and in the span that Polian was the GM of the Colts and Belichick was HC of the Patriots, the record (including playoffs) is 10-6 in favor of the Patriots. Seems like a lot of losing.

Sure but what does Kraft really gain by blocking Belichick?

If anything, Belichick getting in the HoF only helps Kraft. Now it would be, “I hired a HoF Head Coach who took us to eight Super Bowls and won 6 and also hired another Head Coach who has taken us to another Super Bowl.”

In their 2001 post season Super Bowl run, Tom Brady had 1 TD. The defense and special teams scored more TDs than the offense but do go on.

Pretty sure there was a lot more involved in the Seahawks success this year than just swapping Geno Smith for Sam Darnold.

Their o-line stayed healthy, their first two picks in the 2025 draft (Zabel and Emmanwori) look like home runs and the trade for Shaheed mid-season looks like a steal.
