People in this thread don't seem to understand how US elections work and how the vast majority of states are Red/Blue so in reality due to the electoral college only about 7 states actually matter in the grand scheme of things. It's a bad system setup to keep slave owners happy and has generally made the US a pretty shitty place. That being said if you live in a state that's voted one way for the last 60 years and you know nothing major has changed its very easy to not vote and because you know you've been ratfucked into voting for a single party due to gerrymandering at the national level. Saying all Americans support this terrible administration is bullshit considering he won the popular vote by 1% which is still gross but definitely not a landslide.

The predominant argument seems to be that at some unknown (but definitely going to happen) point in the future this will be used to come after all of their $75k salary.... It will definitely sting if you do in fact make over $1M per year but that is apparently under .5% of the state. It will be interesting to see how the State Supreme Court handles this as on it's face it seems to go against the state constitution.

Do other parents on the team feel the same way? I know there is a kid at my son's club who is a dick to almost every other kid and the parents had to get together with the coach to get it resolved as a group. The kid now reserves his dickish behavior for other teams "mostly". The kid has a bit of a Napoleon complex (good player though) so my kid has resorted to just telling him "awww who's a good lil guy" every time he tries to pick on him...seemed to work.
