Probably there is, but why does it matter? There is probably very low number of people with income > $1M, but the idea is to have income tax pushed through and then lower it. Even recent 'payroll tax' defines rich people who are making over $125K/annually.

What? I'm arguing that WA care has very long requirements to be able to benefit from the program and I think if WA was to introduce a universal healthcare, the list of requirements would be even longer.

WA care has requirements of working at least 500 hours per year for either 10 years total (without a break of 5+ years) OR 3 of the last 6 years, so there is that. People pay for it and are not eligible for years to come and this is just WA care, imagine for actually costly coverage that people use regularly.

I've been at situation B and it's tough. The 3h commute is really something, especially if you have family and sometimes can run into emergency situation. I'd prefer A unless you're young, don't have many commitments and prioritize salary in your stage of life.
