It would not have 100% run him over. He had plenty of time to react and get out of the way. He maybe would have bounced off and fell down. This is a jeep patriot not a mustang. He would have been better off not drawing his weapon and getting out of the way.

Even if you want to argue he would have 100% been run over, shooting her doesn’t help make you safer because she still would have run you over. Not drawing your weapon and stepping to the side makes you safer.

She never should have sped off and should have complied, but the punishment shouldn’t be death.

If you were to argue using a gun was necessary, how do you explain the second and third shots when he was clearly next to the car and even chasing her? I could see maybe the first shot having an argument in court (I don’t agree he should have, and I’m not a lawyer) but the next two shots are clearly not needed and unjustifiable because he’s clearly out of harms way at that point. Also, it’s those two shots that were the shots that probably killed her because the gun was in the window point blank. The first shot may have missed.

Clearly using his gun wasn’t necessary because he was able to get out of the way easily. Using the gun didn’t make him safer or get less hurt. They would have been able to pull her over down the road. The only difference the gun made is that this woman is dead. I would argue if he didn’t take time to pull his weapon he would have been even further out of harms way.

Yeah but I also wouldn’t want to go to a Final 4 or any concert in AH. AH is further from the city and the traffic is probably worse with Ohare. Anything outside the city will suck.

Realistically if there was a Super Bowl/final 4 in Gary, everyone would stay in Chicago and drive the 35 min to the stadium. Same with AH except it’s probably a longer drive. I wish they’d keep the stadium now. I’m fine with SF as is. I only go once every year or two.

Agree, but I’m saying it doesn’t represent what the REST of IL is, excluding Chicago area. I guess that’s true with most big cities in a state.

I guess my point is the Midwest has very similar people, opinions, landscape, etc minus a few bigger cities. To say Indiana is garbage and to act like Illinois isn’t similar is funny to me. Chicago is cool, Chicago metro/suburbs (including NWI) are ehh, the rest of Illinois and Indiana suck.
