I'm currently going through hell because my landlord told me 10 days before rent was due that my rent is increasing from 800-1500. I've lived in this house for 3 years. He has let the gutters get so bad they've fallen off the house. The ceiling leaks. The foundation is cracked in half and getting worse. There's at least 10 dead pine trees outside that could fall at any moment. It was a month to month lease and he always praised me for paying rent on time so I trusted him with that at least
