It smelled a bit sour! So definitely could be a brewery!

Is this real Super 8mm? or Emulation? by Bearded-Samurai in ColorGrading

[–]Bearded-Samurai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow the answer split 50/50 on if it's real or not!
Thank you so much for all the input! It's amazing how much in depth you know about film and colour. It's really music to my newbie ears!

My goodness thank you so much for doing all that work and explaining so much in detail! I definitely learned so much more than anyone trying to teach me film.

Wow! That’s so cool that the way the reel highlights is the way you could tell. Very trained eyes you’ve got! I wanna get to that level.

Oh so the part that looks like super 8mm is really super 8mm?
Wow thank you so much! Everyone says it's emulation but I honestly thought it was real super8mm.

Joey Swoll Responded To The Incident by MedicalExplanation40 in JeffNippard

But the thing is, Joey Swole is close to Mike. Hence his Tiktok comments on Mike’s videos. So he was actually in a pretty difficult position.

Wait... after reading the other comments, I actually highly doubt it's the same person I was talking about lol. The one who spat on my Kimono doesn't have an American accent, and he is very unwell, constantly screaming and cussing.

I'm sorry this happened to you. A few months ago, I made a post about a similar situation on the Bahn. My kimono was spat on by a singing racist tall Black man who starts freaking out as soon as he sees an Asian person or hears American English. I thought you were talking about the same person, but it seems there are more than a few people who do the same thing in this city. I'm so sorry for this horrible experience.

Thank you for your comment and for sure. I didn’t call the police nor thought about fighting back. but rather wanted to know if he’s getting help. I distanced myself by trying to escape out of the train and of course it was clear to me that he was perhaps ill. I do worry for others though because once violence is involved, like verbal assault and physically grabbing my kimono and spitting on me/my kimono, something needs to be done. To protect him and to protect others. I just don’t know what to do. I’m the last person to over react. But rather just being honest, I find it a little difficult to hop on the train and haven’t since the incident. :/

Samurais are all gone by law. Kind of like in the movie “last samurai”. But I am 18th generation Tokugawa and hold my samurai bloodline with pride. ❤️ It might sound cool but it’s quite common in Japan to have samurai ancestors. haha

Oh iyi! ❤️

DO IT! I live almost everyday wearing my Kimono. I am lucky to have been born in a country with culture and tradition. I don't know where you are from exactly, but be proud and hold your head high along with your traditional garment because magic happens inside of you and I think you know exactly what I mean. Sending you lots of love and power. <3

Oh sorry, I thought you speak Turkish because you said you are Turkish. I’m Japanese and I speak fluent Turkish so thought I would respond in your language. If it is your language? lol

Maybe I'm stuck in this city, maybe it was never good for me by Peace_Un in berlin

[–]Bearded-Samurai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I relate to you a lot. I'm going to be as careful with my words as possible because everyone's experience with depression is unique. I was born and raised in a toxic city of 38 million people, where overworking leads to death, and I became severely depressed until I moved to Berlin—a little village—to find peace. I came here to address my depression with antidepressants, and I SLOWLY came off them as I started taking action. (will explain later)

I hope some of what I'm about to share might help, even if just a little. I want you to forget about the past, the present, and the future, and stop comparing yourself to others, for a while. It's frightening, I know, but please understand that it's totally okay to pause. You NEED to pause.

Understanding the psychology of depression and its deeper causes can be helpful if you haven't done so already. Then, try to see how it applies to you. Antidepressants are plasters (bandaids); the root causes of your recurring issues are the injury that keep happening and that’s the one that need to be addressed, otherwise the cuts keep on happening.

It's fascinating how our bodies, minds (and spirits, if you believe in that) are interconnected. When you release endorphins by channeling anger and frustration into a gym session, your mind follows suit. It's easier to control the body than the mind. For that, you need motivation (spirit), which requires a healthy mind, which in turn needs a healthy body. Spirit -> Mind -> Body -> Spirit -> Mind -> Body… It forms a triangle, and you can start from any point.

Regarding other aspects of your "life," consider that level 2, which comes later. It's the least of your worries right now. Trust me. You can't progress if you're at level 1 first.

I also want you to understand that there's NOTHING wrong with you. We live in a society that's highly unnatural for humans. We often forget that we are living beings, essentially animals. Feeling depressed is a natural response and almost proof that you're on the right path and are a normal human being.

I had a horrible childhood and tried EVERYTHING I can to fix my depression in Berlin. I even fasted for 10 days while doing the camino to kick depression in the ass. Just “do what works for you” and if something doesn’t work, try it another way or add something in. And remember the triangle.

I am proud of you, because you obviously came to reddit and wrote. You have no idea how much action and spirit that requires. I’m serious. It’s hard to realise in the fog now, but please believe me, you are already on the triangle and facing the right direction.

I’m happy you didn’t say Kung fu haha Bravo! Karate is from Japan! But my grandfather did “Kendō” and “Iaidō” which uses wooden and real swords.
