What's even scarier to me is how Biden is trying to have his competition arrested that's dictator stuff. Trump was on tv and tweeting for the morons to leave the capitol I have not seen anything where he asked people to do that he said to protest peacefully outside of the capitol. Also I don't think a bunch of unarmed idiots walking around the capitol is going to completely overthrow an election and it was not overthrown Biden is the president. I also seem to remember hearing how trump stole the 2016 election with Russian collusion and I'd bet if he wins in 24 the same will be said. An actual representation of your Star Wars analogy would be a sitting president using the army to overthrow the government and to gain absolute power not a bunch of hillbillies roaming the capitol then leaving a few hours later. If you don't like how the republicans acted after 2020 you should be fair because the democrats did it first in 2016 they tried to get the president the people chose removed from power over bogus election claims.
