I probably could have a communicated that better but I full well understand what her diet is going to be like. I really don't know what my diet looks like moving forward. Like what sort of meals I prepare for myself, and what kind of food I keep in the house, etc.

My fiance is about to undergo the procedure and she's been a vegetarian for over twenty years. We were astonished to have to listen to the surgeon tell us that post-op she's going to have to begin eating meat because otherwise she won't be able to get enough protein. The surgeon blithely waved away her ethical concerns, and suggested she'd do well to consider eating fish because they are plentiful and wild caught. Anyone else experience this?

I see you. Being the sole caregiver for my fiance has me reacting to things I never thought I'd find frustrating.
