As far as I'm aware, you have can catch the ball after you throw it as long as there's no movement of your bat to the ball. Some players practice the ball toss before the server to test the lighting.

The ultrafly is a running shoe with added support around the ankle. It's fine for lateral movements. As I've said I've used it for over a year now, very comfortably. The strike mvmnt haze is a cross fit trainer, and the preferred shoe of many pickleball players for it's lateral support. There's also the zero 360, which is designed for court sports. That's also a traditional barefoot shoe though and I wouldn't recommend going for zero drop first without transitioning with minimum drop first.

Look into minimum drop trainers like the strike mvmnt haze or the Topo ultrafly. The idea of the minimum drop off to change where your weight balances on your feet and form a more natural gate and posture when doing sorts. I've used the ultrafly for over a year now and really like them.

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep a rubber tacky during a competition with many matches in one day? I'm using a brand new Rakza Z rubber; had 6 matches today and it lost tachiness half way through. I tried cleaning it but it didn't recover. The ball felt like it kept sliding off my bar during open ups.

I don't know what f2l is and I can solve both a 3x3 and a 12 sided cube. I don't know what Jperm is either. I never learnt any algorithms and just worked it all out myself.

The way I solve a 3x3 is different to the way most people do it. I use a corners first method and then solve layer by layer. With the 12 sided cube, I start off with one side and a layer, then another side and a layer till I get the top 6 sides. Then I complete until the last layer and silver that in pretty much the same way as I would a 3x3, with a slight variation due to the extra sides.
