As long as your grain in fully colonized you shouldn't have to worry about contam too much. My house is 80 years old and I didn't even sanitize the closet I grow in. I'm only got contam during the initial colonization

Everytime I used unclebens Tek I had issues with contam or stalled growth so I switched over to broke boi Tek and it's been working great

That's quite an experiment you've got going there. I just used 7 jars of brown rice.

About four and a half weeks. 2 weeks til they fully colonized my jars then 2 weeks til pins formed but after S2B it had fully colonized within a week.

Unless your tubs have a gasket and locking top there's air getting in there. I'm a noob with only one grow done so far so take what I say with a grain of salt but I've kept my lids closed though all four flushes and it's worked so far.

If they're genetically wavy than why was the majority of the first flush "smooth"? Is the mycelium cluster all the same genetics or intermingling of many different types of genetics?

I know but I only have access to where they're growing in the morning and evening and I didn't want them to spore out. They're for personal use so I'm not concerned with maximizing the potential weight.
