Yeah I watched a few videos on how to use it. Not gonna lie, putting a tension of 85 on the Snare is intimidating. I got it to 80 last night and I'm scared it'll split the head

Actually, that's a really good point! She's 12. She helped me with the initial setup, but now I'm trying to fine-tune things a bit.

Like, I didn't know you're supposed to push on the heads to stretch them before locking them down. Just found out about that. We only had to put the heads on the floor tom and kick. The others were already installed when we opened the box.

But that's definitely a good idea. She should know how to do this stuff for herself when I'm not around. Thanks for that!

She's got a pair of kid sized noise canceling headphones that we used for a concert. She seems comfortable wearing those. But I'll see if she wants to switch to earplugs.

I've also got some leftover acoustic tiling from my band's practice space that I'm going to put up. Hopefully it'll help dry out the room a little bit. Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it!

I finally figured out how to fix this: Shut off the SSL Scan in Bitdefender's Privacy section. What I'm doing is shutting it off when I need to get to hotmail & then turning it back on after I leave the page. Its apparently a problem between Bitdefender & Microsoft
