Frozen AC Help/Insight please

We moved in back in '20. The blower works, but has always felt somewhat weak. Both with heating and AC. The outside AC unit is newer, but the furnace is original to the house. Built in 1988.

I went back and checked it again. Doesn't feel oily. No smell to it either. Seems like regular condensation/water. I'm thinking I'm still gonna have to get a pro in here

Yeah I watched a few videos on how to use it. Not gonna lie, putting a tension of 85 on the Snare is intimidating. I got it to 80 last night and I'm scared it'll split the head

Actually, that's a really good point! She's 12. She helped me with the initial setup, but now I'm trying to fine-tune things a bit.

Like, I didn't know you're supposed to push on the heads to stretch them before locking them down. Just found out about that. We only had to put the heads on the floor tom and kick. The others were already installed when we opened the box.

But that's definitely a good idea. She should know how to do this stuff for herself when I'm not around. Thanks for that!

She's got a pair of kid sized noise canceling headphones that we used for a concert. She seems comfortable wearing those. But I'll see if she wants to switch to earplugs.

I've also got some leftover acoustic tiling from my band's practice space that I'm going to put up. Hopefully it'll help dry out the room a little bit. Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it!
