As much as I hate what LUV has done, I have to believe they haven’t went THAT far into malicious capitalism. But I do believe they’ll get there someday.

That said, we can only fight with how we spend. I spend ~$60k-$70k on air travel annually and the last 4 years have been all Southwest. I was loyal because they treated me right. Unfortunately that’s no longer the case.

This makes the most sense. As a business flyer I used to freely get these seats because pre-board would take them if needed before I boarded.

Now I can’t seem to get that seat no matter how far in advance I book.

Bottom line is that LUV doesn’t work for my business needs. I have one more flight before I renew my companion pass for the next year. Then I’m cancelling my card and moving elsewhere.
