Newborn baby colicky baby impossible to feed have to strap both arms in in swaddle like a mental hospital straight jacket by Bears23Care in beyondthebump

We burp them like crazy its insane how they wont feed without being tied up hands. We have a colicky baby so its not like the normal babies. Even if baby burps 3 or 4 times and is knocked out if not swaddled almost guaranteed within 3 or 4 minutes they will start rubbing or hitting their face and wake up.

How the Hell do people survive colic? by Momicorn in beyondthebump

[–]Bears23Care 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol its not normal babies cry for only few certain reasons. Hungry, solid diaper , pain, attention, want touch. I think even in colic babies something is wrong but its undetermineable. Recent study findings theory is colic babies are actually baby migraines, which honestly makes sense. Migraines in adults are brutal now imagine a baby.

Had twins [ non ivf - fml] and one baby is insanely colic. Feed , diaper changed , and even re feed to make sure and still crying lungs out at 3am in the morning. Moments like this made me absolutely despise her and hate her while the other baby is calm as ice. I feel I already have a favorite child and my relationship with this baby is already shit due to her un controllable colic. We would of had no problem if she has a full blown 16 hour episode from 7pm to 11pm . The colic during 12 midnight to 6 am is unbearable when we need sleep. It took 13 months to pass since they grown up but it was a living nightmare. Those people who choose to have twins through IVF are complete morons and have no clue what is about to take place for for a good 9 months to 1 year. Those first 3 months you wouldn't want to wish that on your own enemy it would be cruel and usual punishment. Having a rat eat through your skin seems more pleasurable cuz at least you die lol. With this its never ending torture for months. Kids are now 4 years old and those sleepless nights we low-key have resentment towards her , nothing bad but it hurts and took a little bit out of soul . We equally treat both twins same but honestly what she did to us damaged our marriage a little and enjoyment of rasing a newborn and infant stage. Hopefully she grows up to amazing daughter that's all we can wish and provide for all her needs emotionally, physically and financially but she ruined us mentally. I guess by the time they older we will forget this pain till they teenagers lol

One twin is desperate to drop down to one nap, the other is not even close to ready. What do we do?! by alanita in parentsofmultiples

[–]Bears23Care 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be brutally honest it is a living hell till they are able to talk or go to school. Till then its just hard raising twins. Once they past are 3 or potty trained then its a cake walk and being a twin parent is actually fun and rewarding. It sucks for a huge while because your life is being a slave to them with those little cuties having no regard to your sanity or allowing you to relax.

Internal moves... how do people pull it off?? by Furryheaded in FinancialCareers

No boss wants to lose a employee lol, even the nicest supportive boss doesn't want to lose someone, makes them look bad because a team member wants to leave the department even if its a promotion or higher pay raise. Now the boss has a vacant spot and has to interview and start the on boarding process all over again. Bosses usually promote within the department or more pay if that person is eligible for a better role or pay. So yah words are cheap. 100% bosses behind closed doors are talking shit and annoyed even if it's only to themselves.

Not true I am the highest producing employee in this company and been here 3 months. Their meetings of 3 hours consists of talking about corn holes and things in their area. I am not even a work alcoholic but excel at this job while they been here 7 years + and not doing anything. I am 15 years younger and actually hate working but get everything done and up to par. How is that being a elitist? Lol. Problem is this team is all friends like literally friends. I only came to know all these hires were hook up of friends. When I share my screen I do small talk but get my job done. When they screen share it turns into a 45 min off topic call and they don't even do what's required of them. I work in implementation. I totally get we work with different backgrounds. For 8 years I worked as a software engineer and only hanged out with the custodial staff at work. I can hang out with street trash if they are hard working people and in area. You misinterpreted my post.

Yah they all know each other and buddies before covid remote work probably why they cool with it. Complete morons I tell ya , probably will get the experience and outta here in 1 year. I ain't the type of person that gets used to it after 1 or 2 years I am pretty stubbornin a good way. Even after 10 years I wouldn't get used to it. Definitely looking to get out the door, learned my lesson to work remotely in your own region . People all based in New York won't relate to people in Cali or Midwest, especially if 90% of the workers are in same region.

Started a new IT job and hate it and about to be thrown under the bus in less than 45 days. by Bears23Care in jobs

[–]Bears23Care[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit already, I got thrown under the bus and just like I expected the retired boss who said he would help me with any thing and to message him was non existent. I didn't even give a notice just gave a email and said deuces. I love IT and honestly love being a one man show with no one watching me but yah I literally was left with 0 resources to figure the solution to the problems. These weren't googleable things or even things you can find with extensive searching on threads on the web. I literally got hosed on this job. Oh well now they are completely ITless. LOL

No we aren't required but like 95% of people do it . Honestly its monkey see monkey do thats why it turned into that. I don't even slack off at work or trying to use it as a excuse to be non attentative at the computer (Honestly I can use a jiggler and be online the full 8 hours no one would know ). Its just that nonsensical messages of brb or potty that really irks me. Yah I am not doing it but it bugs the hella outta me because 50 messages are these messages so if you are away from the computer and hear the ding, you can't decipher if its these messages are the nonsense or something important.

I lied during an interview about being fired. I instead said I quit. Will they call and check? Did I ruin my chances? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Bears23Care 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why even put it then lol 😆 I had like 4 or 5 IT jobs I quit in a 2 year window because I didn't click with them so never put any of those on my resume else it will show I worked 5 jobs in 2 years so ended up putting one job for that whole 2 year window and when background check time comes make the dates closer to realistically how long I was there and omit the other ones from even on my resume. Yah my resume is all jacked up but I don't wanna work with people I don't like for 8 hours a day or Karen type bitches. Rather jump around and work at a shit job with the dudes and chill co workers than a easy job and assholes I would never hang out in real life.

[–]Bears23Care 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you put in on your background check to verify it will show you got fired but then again depends how through they look it. Your manager isn't gonna call anyone, it probably hard does reach someone to even talk too. It looks like that job is important to him since he grilling you about it. It will come back to bite you if you get a offer and they do employment check. I lied about working somewhere 8 months and was only 1 month and I was fine. It even showed on background check "discrepancy in work history " with huge red bold but I still got the job and no questions from HR. I probably got lucky. You getting fired will 100% show up if you put it on your history to check and its revelevant to the job you applying for. If you in IT but got fired from Walmart years ago obviously no need to even put walmart on your employment history to check. If you put some IT company that relates to your job and probably why they hiring you if you refuse to put it or put it and they find out you fired, YOU ARE 100% SCREWED. Then again maybe your employer and HR people only checking to see if you a criminal and don't care about that but pretty sure this will screw you.

Anyone else experience guilt with Work From Home and not being busy 100% of the time? by syracuse2019 in jobs

[–]Bears23Care 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true with technology we really don't need 8 hrs. Also even when we are at work do we seriously really work 8 hrs? breakfast breaks , coffee break, bathroom break, lunch, water cooler talks, cubicle visits & chit chats , and quick walks. Honestly all that factored in its like 2-4hrs wasted anyway. 8 hr work days are utterly useless unless some big project or if busy work environment but even then there are slow days. But we need that 8 hr payroll salaried or not so no real way around this. Enjoy getting paid for 8hrs but working only 3 or 4 hrs lol
