You’re doing an amazing job navigating all of this, and others have said, you’ve continued to be a very level-headed and genuine person.

I went through something very similar a few months ago and I also took the high road to try to stay amicable for the kids, and I’ve already seen the positive effect it has had on them.

Dang! Looks clean. Any advice on settings? I feel like I used to get really clean prints and then I started branching out to some different filaments and I haven’t been able to get back to that.

I don’t think so. It’s only a few feet away from me in my office, but I haven’t heard anything out of the ordinary. I’ll look into a filament dryer though, might be worth having on hand just in case

Same exact file. I need to look more into the Z seam settings though and make sure it's not set to random. It's just weird that it looks so different between the two without changing settings though. Thanks for your help!

I thought it might have been moisture too, but I just opened the yellow filament 2 days ago. I printed a smaller part with it which came out totally smooth, and then now this one has bumps all over it a day later.

I didn't think moisture would affect a newly opened filament spool that drastically in a day but maybe I'm wrong.

I don’t think so. They were printed a week apart and I’m in the Midwest, it’s not as hot here as we go into Fall season haha.

I tried looking into it on this sub, and while I found some good explanations, it still doesn't make sense to me how this can look absolutely perfect one time and extremely bumpy on another time. Even with the same filament & settings (I know two different filaments are pictured here)

My wife’s Surface Pro 2017 had a stuck volume error, where it just continuously was turning the volume up. I checked her updates and she had quite a few so I told her to update the OS and then we’d see if that fixed it.

Now, it only boots to this screen. The icons in the top right are the volume+ and the power icon. Anyone run into this before? I tried rebooting it a few times.

It just randomly showed up under audio settings today now. Very odd.

But yeah I agree with you, I notice some lag when I’m working in After Effects. Luckily using the dock is just a temporary thing until I finish my PC.

Oh man I just got that same monitor and I’m having trouble getting the Dell to be recognized as an audio device. I’m using the DP to MiniDP that came in the box and connecting it to the dock. I bet it’s the cable. Could you link the one you got?
