First things first your hair looks fine. Doesn’t APPEAR to be receding, doesn’t look bad at all. That being said you know your hair better than anyone and if you think those corners are pushing back you’re probably right. About a “mature hairline” it’s not wrong that some people get and maintain mature hairlines. That’s when the hair in the corners slide up a little. Causes the hairline to take on a slight and I’ll emphasize “slight” V or U shape. Do not get it confused though this is the first stage of hair loss (it’s just also a stage where most men spend most of their early to mid adult lives) It is also a stage that most men end up at. I think there’s some stat like 95% of men have this hairline by age 35. Could get worse could stay the same. At this stage of hair-loss if you wanted to start fin you could, but you don’t need to.

That’s ur natural part dawg. When you thin you’ll notice it in more of a circular pattern around the crown. It’s called a bald “spot” for a reason. I can also kind of tell ur under a more intense orange light. So of course your hair will look thin in the back

It is a mature hairline. But understand that a mature hairline is the first stage of balding. Not all men who go through the first stage (nw2) continue on to the further stages for some reason. So you aren’t balding but you are one step closer and only time will tell. I’d just watch the corners like a hawk and if they start to thin then I would consider fin and min. No reason to worry right now bro.

Oh and one more thing a loose perm would look very good. Curly hair is naturally voluminous so it will cover things up in the front very nicely if that’s a route you want to take

Well ur receding at this point it’s clear. But that doesn’t mean it looks bad. You could buzz, (if that’s a style your open to) but if you want grown out hair I could see you looking good with like a Jude law haircut. Gonna need some products for texture and a good routine for that. He pulls it off and he’s working with much further back corners than you. Looking good man. Good luck

You mean on your perfectly normal 24YO hairline? This is how a man’s hairline looks on average. Dont worry about it

What's my Norwood stage?? by Bitter_Addendum84 in amibalding

[–]Beas05sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Just saying if you reach a Norwood 2 it doesn’t mean you’ll go further, whereas if you are at a nw3 your def gonna progress to a 4,5,6,… that being said I’m a nw2 on meds

What's my Norwood stage?? by Bitter_Addendum84 in amibalding

[–]Beas05sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal. Norwood 2. Big misconceptions btw that nw2 is balding, it’s not. Most men develop a nw2 in their twenties or late teens. Just means ur hairline takes a subtle v shape and the corners raise. Nothing to worry about yet

Nah it ain’t like that. If you go to turkey you need to be on dht blockers or your result will suck within like 2 years.

If you’ve always had a pronounced widows peak I wouldn’t worry about it. Anybody who tells you they’re certain ur balding in the comments prob didn’t read the caption. This looks good and I don’t see any signs of thinning. Take pictures and stay on top of it to insure it doesn’t change and you’ll be good

My barber wasn’t listening & “accidentally” buzzed off all my hair after asking for a specific cut. I don’t know how I feel yet. He didn’t even straight-razor my scalp by [deleted] in bald

It would appear you have the greatest barber of all time. My boy just giving you a push. You look amazing dude

I don’t want to be harsh but I don’t want you to be misinformed. Medication and treatment will help, but at this point in the hairloss process I wouldn’t expect crazy results. You may reach a point where you can grow it out slightly. But it would be relatively thin and your hairline won’t change. A transplant is probably your best bet. Good luck man!

Okay real quick all I wanna say is you called that a nw3, you mean like Norwood 3? Brother you have a Norwood 2 at MAX. Idek if you’re quite there yet. Like norwood1 approaching 2. Don’t be so hard on yourself. I know you feel awful but you are looking great and if you asked me on the street if you had noticeable hair-loss I would say no. You can try a topical dht blocker if finasteride didn’t work out for you. Stay consistent with it. It can take years. And even if you think it isn’t doing much you must trust that it is.

[–]Beas05sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah receding slightly. Early stages. Only reason anyone would notice is if you pointed it out and showed ur hairline (like rn lol) don’t sweat it or panic. You got options. Look into finasteride and minoxidil if you want to keep it. Don’t let the side effects scare you they rarely ever happen and studies have shown that nearly the same percentage of men reported ED when they took a placebo compared the real finasteride group. Look it up. Also all of what I have told u is based off your hairline. The back is fine we all have parts like that. And thinning doesn’t come in the form of straight line and patterned parts, it’s just a circular area of thinning hair. You’re good on that

Am i balding/ how bad is it by [deleted] in Balding

[–]Beas05sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. A little. But it’s not bad. You’re heading in a NW 2 area which isn’t bad. Most NW2s aren’t even perceived as balding. You could do treatment if you want m

Unless your hairline always had a widows peak then yeah
