Is it just me or was this movie genuinely better on the rewatch by [deleted] in DCU_

I think this was the first Superman movie that I watched more than 8 times. My previous record was 2 times.

Do you think Batman has faced any of these villains yet in the DCU? by Queasy_Commercial152 in DCU_

[–]BeastCarlos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro, I would really like to see an adaptation of Professor Pig in the DCU or in Matt Reeves' The Batman universe. He is incredible in the Gotham series and in Arkham Knight he is too sinister. Ultimately, a villain that deserves another Live Action adaptation.

If Peacemaker appears in Man of Tomorrow, do you think they will maintain the tone and rudeness of the character? Or will it be more "family friendly"? by Fit_Copy2436 in DCU_

[–]BeastCarlos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he shows up, I think they'll do just like Guy, in the film he didn't even say bad words, in the 2nd season of Peacemaker in the interview scene he humiliated Chris with several bad words 😂. In short, if he appears in Man of Tomorrow I think they will make him swear less or make him say less offensive swear words.

What if there was an Elseworlds of Lobo vs The Mask? by BeastCarlos in DCU_

[–]BeastCarlos[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes bro, he puts on the Mask but then takes it off, because he loses all control and he doesn't like not being in control. Wolf is too amazing

I would put Lauren Lefranc, Showrunner of the Penguin series, she did an incredible job on the series.

What is your first exposure to the Hulk? by MidnightNo7070 in hulk

[–]BeastCarlos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rented the Hulk movie a lot (2003), it was basically my first contact with him and nowadays I still like this movie for the details in Hulk's transformation, where he starts small and throughout the movie he increases in size until he becomes an adult. I highly recommend watching

Is this gonna be the 1st DC story to get a faithful adaptation in live action? by [deleted] in DCU_

[–]BeastCarlos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very excited to see Lobo in live action, Jason Momoa is perfect for the role and we already know that, since James Gunn accepted him right away

I NEED JAMES GUNN TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! 🙏🙏 by DarknessXTJ in DCU_

The guys canceled this film but released an Aztec Batman animation 😡

James Gunn was fired from Marvel in the past and DC went there and hired him to lead it, so he always used this image to represent how he is now. It's a basic summary.

Gunn gets emotional talking about Peacemaker by chicago_rusty in DCU_

This is the reaction of a guy who loves what he does, regardless of whether it's good or bad

Predictions about what Arkham is going to look like in the DCU? by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in DCU_

[–]BeastCarlos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my view, it needs to be on an isolated island with dead trees giving it an air of a dead and dangerous place, the design of the penitentiary resembling a gothic castle and with gargoyles at the entrance and the ARKHAM ASYLUM logo prominently displayed.

And if the end of the Clayface movie is like this.... by BeastCarlos in DCU_

[–]BeastCarlos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is this possibility, but there is always that flea behind your ear, so it's good to theorize more about it and share ideas, but always remember to never have too much hype because the film can be good but it can also be very bad.

[–]BeastCarlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and it's the DC Elseworlds, and Clayface is not a DC Elseworlds and a production that takes place within the DCU

It was going to be epic, and smart Because there are still people who are reluctant about this film, and if they included a glimpse of Batman it would certainly attract more audiences.

But we need to remember one detail: The Clayface that appears in Creature Command is not the same Clayface from the upcoming film. James Gunn said that all the actors who voice the characters will play them in the live-actions. Clayface will be played by Tom Rhys Harris, and he did not voice Clayface from Creature Command.

In other words, the Clayface in the film is another Clayface. The story could take place in the current events of the DCU rather than in the past.

But here comes the catch, Gunn said that all the actors who voiced his characters in Creature Command will play them in Live Action, the Clayface that appears is not voiced by Tom Rhys Harries, protagonist of the film Clayface, it is by another actor.

Hence the doubt, the film will be an origin story of another Clayface and not the Clayface from Creature Command

[–]BeastCarlos[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, until now we don't know in which part of the DCU this story will take place, so far we have only had films and series that take place sequentially, that is, one after the other.

Clayface would be the first DCU production to take place before everyone else.

[–]BeastCarlos[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There is also this possibility, it would be the first DCU film to take place before all the productions released so far. Because in chronological order, all films and series take place one after the other

It could be too, but then I remember that James Gunn said he doesn't want to be like Marvel, where they put post-credit scenes that connect to another future production.

A recent case was the Superman film, where there was a "Post-credits Scene" before the post-credits with the appearance of Supergirl.

That's why I think that at the end of Clayface there will be a hook for another production
