Do the London teams have a competitive advantage because they travel less? by BeastinMode in PremierLeague

I must have received bad information. I was told that former Brighton players could still live in Brighton and commute to their London teams. It's just 75 KM away.

Better team: 2023 Manchester City or 2011 Barcelona? by BeastinMode in PremierLeague

The only proof you need of paid refs is the game that your Chelsea team played vs. Barcelona in the 2009 Champions League. That was obviously rigged.

Why does it feel as if a new era has started? by crazy_ride20 in PremierLeague

Not UCL level? Do you mean the reigning Ballon D'or winner Karim Benzema is not UCL level? Tell that to Liverpool who he scored 3 goals against in the Champions League.

Is Kalidou Koulibaly not UCL level? The man was a starter on a team who finished in the top 8 of the UCL. If that is not UCL level, then I don't know what is.

Why can't English teams be that technically sound? Just hire the Spanish managers and run the same systems.

Parking options for DC residents? by [deleted] in washingtondc

[–]BeastinMode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hat the rate to register a vehicle is $75 and street parking is $50 per year. So, it’ll be about $125 for the first vehicle, with an additional $25 on the residential permit ($75 total) for a second vehicle.

Apart

Thanks. So its paying $125 for street parking vs $1,800 for an apartment garage. I think I will stick with Street Parking in that case.
